  1. I think Sabrina the Teenage Witch was the last one I abandoned. I tend to stick it out really. I think disappointing shows are easier to take when you tune in every week because you've invested in them already. I abandon lots of shows when I'm bingeing them. One or two bad episodes and I'm out.
  2. Sorry, but a cat deserves a proper Christian name for public use. Imagine the embarrassment when the vet calls out, "Fattycat," and off you go with him. Poor thing will be the laughing stock. @Rylan10, I quite like Fabienne!
  3. A lot of fans enjoyed the Lana/Rusev/Lashley angle, but it seemed silly to me. If I was Rusev, I'd say good riddance and go on to better things. He'll land something good. Would love to see him on AEW's roster. Cody said that AEW isn't interested in signing a lot of WWE's wrestlers. I think that's smart. It's one thing to pull a coup and lure a wrestle away from the WWE in hopes of a brighter future and better schedule, and another to take WWE's cast-offs. Those wrestlers are still talented, some are even great, but it's not a good look. It will also seem like they're signing their old buds. I don't think EC3 would have a way in at AEW without Jericho. I wonder where Zack Ryder will land? He's buddies with Jericho and Cody I think. Is Kurt Angle broke? I know he was in need of funds at one point, so we went back to wrestling, but hopefully that's not where he's at today.
  4. Have you seen Stranger Things? It's a horror, sci-fi programme that's highly bingeable. With only three seasons to watch, it's not overwhelming. I recently binged Rectify. It's a drama about a guy who spent close to 20 years on death row after being wrongfully convicted. His conviction gets overturned and he is let back into society, but his life will never be the same.
  5. I saw on the news that some shops across the pond have made face masks a requirement to enter. Three states have made it a rule that face masks are required if you're out in public and some states seem to be enforcing stay-at-home orders. Is the UK next? Do you guys think wearing a face mask when out in public should be mandatory? What about staying at home?
  6. Really? I thought it would be motivational to see a bunch of scientists and researchers and just regular human beings figuring out a solution to the spread and creating a way to overcome it. I can see what you mean though.
  7. I watch the same TV programmes more often than films. I've seen every episode of Will and Grace and the British version of The Office countless times.
  8. @Gareth The Great, it's been all over social media for ages that MJF has been just as rude and cocky at meet and greets as he is in the ring. I think that's to be expected when it comes to heels, no? Cody's responses were funny though. He couldn't settle on whether to apologize and smooth things over or to say, "Hey, what did you expect?" to the father. He went in both directions. I'm surprised the kid didn't think it was the coolest thing ever that MJF was giving him a hard time.
  9. I'm not going to pay for the PPV because I think most of the wrestlers wanted to sit this one out. It jeopardizes not only the wrestlers' health, but the health of the entire crew that goes into making these events happen. Despite the issues, it looks like a good card honestly. There a few matches I'd like to see. Taker's Boneyard Match will undoubtedly be great. I think The Miz's tag team match would be excellent too, but it seems he might be sick and Morrison might get another partner. These events tend to get uploaded to Reddit and YouTube and I'll watch it then or I'll make do by reading some recaps. I'm interested to see whether Reigns gets buried over his decision to sit this one out. Surely not, but we'll see.
  10. The coronavirus is starting to make me anxious, so maybe watching some films where people triumph over diseases will help. I saw Contagion when it first hit the cinema and it reminds me of what we're going through now. The film has an all-star cast that deals with a deadly virus. It was said to be pretty accurate according to the scientific and medical communities. It's an excellent film. What are some of the best films that fit the pandemic theme?
  11. Can you believe they snagged Matt Hardy? I love Jim Ross, but I'm looking forward to hearing Cody as a commentator. I think it's sweet that they're looking out for Ross - because you know that's what they're doing, so he won't have to fly in. @Knox Try Revolution (PPV) or just watch their Wednesday show. Zack and Kam give great recaps and there's also a few on Cult of Whatever as well, though they're more of a summery. They aren't like the WWE where things get dropped, ignored, flipped, and all without explanation. The stories/feuds on AEW build nice and slow. You'll catch up in no time. I just realized you're new(ish) so welcome to the forum!
  12. Was the Toy Story franchise computer generated? Does that count as film animation? I guess all Disney/Pixar films are computer generated now. I think the new stuff looks great, but the old films took more talent and patience to create. I'm going with Bambi. The animators made those animals come to life - even their body language was easily readable. @Spade I love your avatar! I recently got a similar looking British Shorthair that I named Daffy. She gives that same unimpressed look.

    Closing schools

I think it's an overreaction and quite ridiculous. I could understand if it was Ebola that was wrecking havoc in our countries, but not this. I worry about the children who depend on free school meals in order to get something to eat.

    Laziness

Everyone has a chore they hate so it's put off until the last minute. That's all it's about. You don't like doing it, so you wait until it's a must. Then every little aspect surrounding that chore is annoying as heck because it's something you hate doing. Laziness has nothing to do with it. I hate unloading the dishwasher. It takes all of five minutes to finish, but I'll wait until bedtime to get it done and I only do it then because there'll be a ton of dishes in the sink that need to go in the dishwasher. And I will be extra put out if I have to retrieve a dish towel to dry any of the cups that should've dried in the dishwasher.
  15. I want to enjoy his character. I think he was treated wrong in the WWE, especially towards the end. But, I just don't enjoy his character as much. Maybe it's the name change or maybe it's the personality switch. It just throws me off. Jericho is still Jericho, no matter where he goes. He's changed through the years of course, but his underlying self is always there. But this Moxley guy seems like a whole different person, which reeks of fakeness to me. And I get the whole kayfabe thing, and that each persona probably contains parts of the individual's true personality, but Moxley's is so dramatically different that I find it hard to reconcile. I can still see the talent but not the wrestler. I hope that makes sense. I'm glad you still dig him though.
