Just home from the theater. This film far exceeded every expectation I had. I'm always weary of good trailers because they don't necessarily reflect how good or bad the film is gonna be. I figured it had to at least be better than the prequels. It was far more than that. I came out of the theater excited and emotionally satisfied. It was tremendous and I'll for sure be seeing it again. Super excited to see what comes next. The new characters are all interesting and fun and well acted. Daisy Ridley is going to be a massive star. Kylo Ren is easily the best villain we've had since Vader but he's not just a Vader 2.0. He's an actually character with depth, emotion, and clear motivations. He's not just a throw away cartoon villain like we got in the prequels. He's very human and very unpredictable and that makes him dangerous. John Boyega and Oscar Isaacs were both incredible. I think Poe Dameron might just be my favorite out of the new characters. Also, BB-8 is wonderful. I love him. Best thing is the nostalgia didn't seem forced at all. It was very tasteful. You can really tell this was a labor of love. I had faith in JJ from the beginning and he didn't let me down one bit. The negatives I have are very few. It felt a little rushed in places and there were a few things that should have been explained better but besides that it's a very solid film in it's own right. 9/10 - Best Star Wars film since Empire.

After sleeping on it I've come to the conclusion this show is pretty over hyped. Sting and Triple H was fun but the ending was retarded. Bray/Taker sucked and not just because of the finish, because the match sucked. Orton/Rollins was the best match of the night next to Cena/Rusev, and the main even was better than it had any right to be. That's literally it. It's honestly not the best mania in years just because of the finish to the main event. That doesn't get to make up for how lackluster the show really was. "OH BLOOD! NEAT!" "OH LOOK TAKER AND BRAY DID THAT THING EVERYONE WANTED TO SEE!" Get out of town, it wasn't that great. I'd give it a strong B or a 7/10.

Sony Pictures Entertainment Brings Marvel Studios Into The Amazing World Of Spider-Man Read more: marvel.com~ This is fantastic news and deserves nothing less than a F*CK YES! I'm totally hype to hopefully see Spidey in Civil War! There's also a rumor going around that Andrew Garfield is NO LONGER Spider-Man and someone new will be cast. First appearance in MCU, then solo film. I honestly don't care who it is as long as Marvel gets to use Spidey finally. Now we just need Fox to fall in line. That would be amazing. That way we could get literally EVERYONE we need for Infinity War! ARGH! I hope it happens! What do you guys think?

Interstellar. Utterly fantastic film. It's literally hard scifi with a heart. I loved everything about it especially the little nods to Stanley Kubrick. Easily Chris Nolan's best film for me. He's earned his place in top ten favorite directors with this one. The visuals and soundtrack alone are superb. The cast is above average with some brilliant performances, especially from Bill Irwin who played TARS. There's just the tiniest touch of cheese from Matthew McConaughey but it's Matthew McConaughey, you're gonna get a little touch of cheese. It dosen't take anything away from the film and even makes his character a little more believable as a former test pilot/engineer turned farmer turned savior. There are some very cool twists and turns. One of them being very unexpected but SO welcomed once it unfolded. I won't even spoiler tag it. I'll just say, you'll know what/who I'm referring to if/when you see it. I've just watched it a few days ago and I'm still basking in the afterglow but I'm honestly thinking it topped 2001 for me as my all time favorite scifi film. There are definitely elements of Kubrick's 2001. Some are obvious but some are very cleverly veiled in a way that really made me sit up and pay attention when I noticed them. I feel like I've only scratched the surface with this film and will need to go back a few times to catch things I may have missed. Not necessarily the hard science concepts, if you're at least familiar with those concepts it's very simple to grasp for such a complex film. I'm talking more the overall vision, setting, cinematography and of course the underlying themes. If you're a massive scifi fan you'll love this film. Again, it's hard scifi, but there are a few action elements, and even a bit of a love story to keep both the adrenalin junkies and those of a lighter heart interested. I HIGHLY recommend Interstellar. It may just be my favorite film of 2014 right after Birdman. Glorious. 5/5
