FF are some of the bestgames out IMO. The best in terms of storyline has to be FF7 by far. FFIX was a massive let down, X and X-2 are stunning games.

I'm an absolutely massive fan of the Final Fantasy games. My favourite being FFVIII (although everyone says VII is the best, but i think it's overrated) The FF games are simply outstanding and well worth every penny you pay for them. Everyone was shocked when FFVII was on 3 disks, it was quite uncommon for a game to come on two disks at the time.

The Final Fantasy series will continue to impress gamers all over the world for years to come, and rightfully so.

At the moment I just finished my 3rd runthrough of FFX-2 and just got the perfect ending. I love those games. I kept my psone after I got the ps2 just so I could play ffvii and ffviii again and again. hehehehehe
Really loved VII and VIII. Actually, the eighth is one of my fave games ever. Wasn't TOO gone on IX, bought X but never really got into it. X-2 looks amazing but havent played it too much yet. Think the problem for me is that I dont really have the time to devote to ff games anymore (unlike when I was in college and finished ff8 by playing it non-stop for two weeks). Still, ff games are proven quality.
Yeah they are well cool. It might be better if you finish ffx before really playing ffx-2 'cos it's a proper follow on if you know what I mean. If you need any help with them, don't hesitate to give me a shout. :D

You do realise that you can play PS1 games on the PS2 right?

Either way the FF Series is awesome, I got into the series at a late stage by playing FFVII first, I'm pretty sure I played this game none stop for around 6 months, The storyline in the game is amazingly addictive and I still consider it my favourite game of all time, I've since played many of the earlier FF games also, All brilliant, Best RPG series ever.

I have some of the early FF games on my SNES emulator and they rock, but the series has always been one step behind the Zelda series although I do still enjoy the PS games too.
FF7 and FFX are the best FF games around, FF9 is the biggest disappointment, but it's still a good game. lately though Square have been getting a tad lazy

I remember a few years ago, every hour of every day, my mate used to rave about Final Fantasy 7. It was the ultimate of raving too, he adored that game. He always went on about some card game in it.

Shame I didn't know anything about the game though! I bought it later down the line but wasn't too impressed. I guess i'm only a sports game man. :)

Pro Evo 4 Life!

Final Fantasy X, you stole 95.25 hours of my life...

And now I want them back....

Oh well, I'd probably just waste them anyway.

AIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Yeah Final Fantasy is a great Series. Like most people Final Fantasy VII is my favorite. Although FFX and X-2 are both really good. FF9 wasn't too bad story wise but battle wise was a real let down. I mean it took ½ an hour from the point you pressed the 'X' button until the action took place. I have a feeling that could be why FFX had the turned based system.

Anyway Final Fantasy 12 is looking good and Advent Children just keeps looking better.

I sold my N64 to get a PSX with FF7 and i was glad i did at the time. I played the game to death and i loved it so much that i went out and bought all the sequels that came after it.

The music in the game is also great, especially the one called Exposé and the whole thing between Aeris and Cloud was brilliant, i nearly cried!
