Rite i'm a fan of formula 1 and i'm really looking foreward to the new season, and when i first heard that sky had bought the rights to the digital broadcast i got all excited but i neva expected to charge as much as £12.00 a race i was expecting something more in the region of £8.00, i now think that i will only buy a few races and watch the others on itv.

From what I can gather from the infomercial currently playing on Sky Digital Channel 434, that £12 buys you the entire running throughout the meeting, including practice, qualifying, warm up etc. Also, this will all be shown devoid of ad breaks. The Interactive element wil be good as long as it gives you access to every on car camera, and the choice of which drivers/battles to follow.

 

I must admit though £12 every race does sound a tad extortionate, particularly considering that ITV's free coverage is usually more than adequate. Martin Brundle is da man!

 

Any news on who will be doing the commentary on the Sky Digital Channel? I know ITV have secured Murray's services again this year for a regular "season so far" segment.
