Unhappy With JBL's Actions In Germany?

If so, you'll be interested in this.

It's an automated email thing which sends a comment to WWE, and apparently other parties, demanding that something should be done regarding John Bradshaw Layfield's actions at the German house show. It takes two seconds to fill out, and there's already hundreds of people who have voiced their displeasure. Sure, it might not make WWE do anything, but if enough emails are sent, and they go to the various other media sources, then it'll be brought to the attention of these parties.

Both myself and Ssur have filled out the form, and while filling it out isn't going to get JBL fired, it is going to have more impact than an online petition with 7 people's names asking for a Test push, especially if a few big name media outlets get ahold of what went down.

Me too.

Listen, I know just about everything has been said on this in the other thread, but I didn't get a chance to post on it, so I just wanna say something now.

Obviously what he did was despicable. I only hope that Bradshaw was acting by himself and wasn't told to do it by anybody else. If he was, then there's little hope for WWE. In the past, they've shown themselves to be insensitive on the odd occasion, but never to this extent. Like I said, hopefully this was Bradshaw's own bright idea, and hopefully he'll be punished severely for it. This ignorance of another country's culture is absolutely staggering. How ANYBODY (even a redneck like Bradshaw) could believe that this little stunt would be entertaining and wouldn't hurt any feelings is beyond me.

This will probably get me some stick, but I havent signed it and I wont, because I still believe its no big deal, who cares! So some guy made a jackass of himself. Big deal, let it go, signing this petition wont make a difference whatsoever.

I was going to say the same thing.

If JBL did that on his own, I'm sure the WWE would have told him he was out of line.

I've already seen this reported on other websites, so I assume it's had press coverage, which the WWE will see.

The petition is a good idea if you feel it will make some kind of an impact though.

What he did is actually illigal, so some action will have been taken.

After that, I think it'll be case closed.

Anyone else received this autoresponse?

WWE and John Layfield deeply regret Mr. Layfield's actions in the ring

at our event in Munich, and apologize if it has offended or upset our

fans. Mr. Layfield has been reprimanded for his actions. Thank you for

your email and for your interest in WWE.

I had not actually heard anything about this before checking this thread, and after reading about the incident i have signed the petition. However i very much doubt anything will be done, and to be honest that wont bother me when nothing happens.

Guest .sixtythree.

Cheap heat is cheap heat. Unless an actual law suit is launched against the WWE I think they'll just sweep this under the rug.

I can remember so many occasions in the past when people tried to do something about the way the WWE were stepping out of line (extorting cancer to put someone over, and necrophilia to name a few recent ones) and unless actual action was taken it fell on deaf ears.

To be fair, Vince himself admitted to himself just how bad the Katie Vick angle was after the ratings and bad press told him everything he needed to know about public opinion.

In front of a packed german crowd in munich, JBL was seen continuously goose stepping and hitler saluting to the crowd.

Much as to the bad taste of his actions and insult to the German people, who are constantly forced to feel ashamed by that period of their history, it is also illegal to do in German Law.

Hope that clued you up

Because he can plead ignorance for a start. He was a foreigner in Germany, unaware of this law. I didnt know this law either, and I bet alot of people outside Germany didnt know it was an illegal act either.

Then there is Vince McMahons money and lawyers, that alone could get him off the hook in a millisecond.
