Guest Jericho
I know this has probably been discussed a million times but I just want to get a general feeling about whether fans think HHH deserves the power he's got in WWE at the moment? Me personally, it's a no...
Guest The Crippler
Yes, this has been done a million times. :) I don't think it's a question of whether he deserves it. He is married to the boss' daughter and you'd need to be a complete idiot really to ignore the fact that this would bring you more stroke. But like I said, it isn't a question of whether he deserves it, he has got a certain position there where he'll be taking over with Steph when Vince steps aside (Vince has said this himself) and there isn't anything that people can do about it. Guest Jericho
I don't think HHH would have the same kind of relationship with the fans that Vinnie Mac does... but that's just my opinion
Guest MachoMat
As is often the case, whether or not he deserves it has nothing to do with whjether or not he's got it.
Guest RvD316
No way he deserves the power he has he is terrible in the ring. He uses his powers simply to destroy other wrestlers shots at becoming a respectable World Champ. Randy Orton,Booker T.,Chris Jericho,RVD(at Unforgiven2002),and Goldberg(yes he sucks but he could have been a draw) are all just a few of the careers HHH has destroyed
Paul 584
I'd hardly say Goldbergs career has been destroyed! The man is being paid to wrestle in Japan (and makes as much money as he would get in the WWE) and makes (crappy) movies!
Guest Lizard King
WELL, HE IS PART OF THE FAMILY. Did the Von Erichs deserve all that power in WCW? DId the Gagne's deserve all that power in the AWA? Does Jarrett deserve all that power in TNA? It's all in the family, and it's a wrestling tradition! :devil
Guest BWS Soldier
Now i don't hate HHH i actually quite like him but i chose no on this one purely because he should be treated the same as all the other wrestlers and he should earn things like the others he shouldn't just be able to say he wants this and wants that just because he is Vince's son in law
Fletch 204
O god here we go again another HHH thread designed to bash the man for the pull he has backstage. HH may have a certain amount of pull backstage, but then again so do guys like Undertaker and Kurt Angle nowadays. Fact of the matter is what ever HHH does backstage decisions wise he goes out in front ot the people and gives them their moneys worth because he is a fantastic wrestler. Whether or not HHH married Steph or not to get some power backstage no one can say, nor do i think any of us should care because its none of our business. But why bash the man for something we personally know nothing about? if hes bad in the ring thats one thing sure make your point but if hes bad behind closed doors how in the hell are we to know? That's exactly it. You don't know anything about Triple H in that respect. He married Stephanie, yes, but you don't know why? And that's the truth, you don't. To even suggest that it was solely for power is just plain disgraceful and disrespectful. And yes, not just Tripps, but guys like Taker, as said above, also have some pull backstage. Most of the main-event veterans do, but that's besides the point, you don't know how Triple H utilizes that, you see what you see on TV, but you have no idea what's been going on backstage. Triple H is where he is today because he is a main eventer on RAW, and a damned good one at that. Face it. He's a great draw and to call him terrible in the ring would be a major major mistake. If you want terrible in the ring, look at Tyson Tomko... Triple H is going to be around for time to come, he's a good wrestler and great for the company. You either love him or hate him, but you should respect him no matter what...
Guest Slim Jim
id say that trips knows he has the power. he'll always be in the title run. the reason for this is a. hes in the family and b. hes the best.
Guest E2K
I said no - but only cos I don't think he deserves as much power as he has. If 2002 and 2003 showed us nothing else, it's that HHH has a top spot for as long as he wants it, whether it's deserved or not. So I voted no. However . . . . . that's not to say the guy doesn't deserve any power. He obviously knows the business inside out and has drawn money for much of his career. He just shouldn't have as much as he has in my opinion.
Maxximus 353
Sure, let Trips run the whole thing into the damn ground! What do I care! The fact that he is champ again makes me sick! At least with WcW around, there was something else to watch!
Guest Jayden
I think the question shouldn't be "does HHH deserve that much power", instead "does anyone deserve that much power". the answer of course is no, nobody on the roster deserves that whether it's Triple H or not. Guest peoples eyebrow
I didnt vote cos basically I think he deserves a certain amount of power but the truth is I dont know how much power he actually has.......he seems to be able to give and take the title as often or as little as he chooses which is wrong if thats whats happening. All I know is im sick of the constant predictability of it all....I mean I KNEW he was gonna win the belt back off Orton :roll ......So my take on the topic at hand is..... He definitely deserves to be main eventing and have a good amount of creative control BUT not at the expense of all and sundry.
