Job?

No don't worry, this isnt Triple H requesting your jobbing services.

I've decided to make my post number 500 a random question, which doesnt require a long answer. I was just wondering what everyone here worked as.

I started my new part time job yesterday in the local village serving people at a bakery. Its an OK job. Friendly atmosphere and the customers aren't half bad :). Its enough to start saving for Uni and to pay for driving lessons soon.

So what do all of you do for a living?

(Fletch, I'll save you a post. I know what you do...or don't work as ;) )

I work in corporate customer services. Basically I keep happy big corporate clients in whatever way I possibly can.

Used to work as a telemarketing manager before that

Cheeky get this is of course through no fault of my own. I apply and I even get interviews, however the one thing i dont get is the job :(

So now Im officially on jobseekers which is much better as they help me get a job although Im hoping that I hear something back from a couple jobs before I have my interview. Im desperatly skint and to be honest its doing no body any favours me not having a job at the moment. With a bit of money coming in while Im looking will help. of course I did actually feel quite bad about taking tax payers money but actually its not. See my mom and dad have been working all their lives since they left school so the couple weeks money I get is just what they paid in. Perfect sense.

hey don't feel bad about it, as long as you're doing what you're supposed to. ie, trying to get a job. it's called jobseekers allowance for a reason.

you aren't just some bum who's going to collect it every friday and spending it down the pub with no intention of getting a job.

you're in a difficult situation right now so make the most of the fact that you live in a country willing to help support you.

I work two/three nights a week in a nightclub. Its not bad, easy enough money but I need a full time job as well so I can save up for my PGCE (Post grad certificate of Education) which I want to start in 2005.

Work sundays, and the occasionally afternoon/night (like tonight) working at the local rugby club, feeding and watering the iccle kids, and my personal faves, the Under 16's (my age) and Under 17's. Plus the austrailian coaches are fit, £4 an hour. I love my job.
