tool's version of demon cleaner by kyuss is pretty amazing. it's weird hearing one of my favourite bands, covering my favourite band. especially as the two vocalists, maynard, and jon garcia are my two favourite vocalists of all time.

Scissor Sisters doing Comfertably Numb was a bit wierd... Baby One More Time by Travis was also a bit shocking and bad... Bowling For Soups was far better.

How about Gene Simmons of Kiss doing Firestarter? I saw the video on Scuzz and to say I was a bit weirded out would be an understatment... Plus he wouldn't put that bloody tongue away.

Dope's cover of You Spin Me Right Round is very strange, butr the winner for me is The Gypsy Kings covering Hotel California on the Big Lebowski soundtrack. Strange, but good.

If you are a fan of covers then I strongly recommend Hayseed Dixie, they only do covers with a chorus of men singing along to two duelling banjos.

 

Extremely, extremely funny. If you like "rock-grass".

I will probably never get over Avril Lavignes brutal annihaliation of "Chop Suey". It sounds weird, crap, and quite shockingly cringe-worthy.

 

Dope's version of "You spin me right round" is good, as it the Max and Paddy sing-along on the Phoenix Nights DVD.

Embrace covering How Come by d12 I thought was quite weird, although they done a pretty good job of it I think. I'd actually recommend giving it a listen if you can get the chance to.
