Hi,

I bought a new videogame accessory that allows you to use your Body to control every fighting game like Tekken, Virtua Fighter, Soul Calibur, Dragon Ball Z called BodyPad. I just love it!!! You can find back all combos with real gestures! It is was I was expecting for years!

Look at these impressive videos at http://www.bodypad.com, the dedicated website.

I was born in French so I often go back over there... And the success of this product is just incredible there!!!

In the UK, the product can be found at Argos only I think. I bought one (cheaper than in France) and it is just incredibly reactive and funny. I cannot understand why there is so many press articles in France (have a look at the press coverage section on the BodyPad website) and TVs.. and quite nothing here in the UK.

That is why I want you to discover it ;-) :xyx

If you know this product please get in touch with me so that we can share our experiences. Thanks.

You are right but BodyPad is different!

I am generally allergic to all peripherals that make me look like an idiot while I'm using them.

I totally agree with you. Same thing for me! ;-)

But BodyPad is really different from all the bullshit I won't mention...

It is really accurate and allows to find back all combos.

Have you tried BodyPad? It is true that it is necessary to get used to it but afterwards it is nothing but hapiness :)

I went to different exhibitions in France where BodyPad was demonstrated and tested by hundreds of people and I can promise that everyone are enthusiastic: gamers, kids, parents, martial art adepts...

It sounds very much like you work for Bodypad, Xtopher. Anyway, I would ask my parents for a Bodypad for Christmas, but they'd probably think I wanted some sanitary towels or something.

BodyPad is really different from the gametrac

sounds like a rip off of the gametrac

Hello,

The BodyPad is compatible with all fighting games like Tekken, DOA, DBZ, Virtua Fighter,... whereas the Gametrac has only one dedicated fighting game called Darkwind (subjective view, use of arms only) and doesn't work with thesaid games...

I would say Gametrac is more like the EyeToy and BodyPad is more like a pad... but with high feelings in addition!!!

You can find some videos at:www.bodypad.com (it looks like their French version is more uptodate...) which is better to understand that my explanations!!

Actually, I would love to work in this company... My job for a consulting agency is by far less funny... But the fact is that I am fond of martial arts and video games and that I tried lots of bullshits before finding out the BodyPad... Sorry if I sound a little too enthusiastic :oops

gametrac would be more use to me as it uses only arms not arms and legs, once again this is a peripheral that completely ignores disabled gamers like myself! :help :? :roll :mad others being that Xbox game that comes with its own controller that it only recognises (with pedals) and dance mats which are a little more forgiveable also most wheels these days have pedals with them Edited by Anime Otaku

Bodypad and Gametrac...

so its a rip off with no dedicated software to take advantage of it?!?

Let's say it is a rip off allowing you to play more than twenty games with your arms and legs instead of an original device allowing you to play with only one fighting game and your arms.

I like the Gametrac that I tried several times, but it is really different... I would say both device should not be compared ;-)
