Anybody found the Soccer AM badgers on the game?

Featuring Tim, Fenners, Tubes and Sheephead. i wanted to sign Tim but £10,000 a week is bit to much for a 35 year old with no football experience. May have to put a bid in for a 53 year old Phil Neal mind.

i remember finding them in the second season of my first game, a news item came up telling me one of them retired. i tried to sign Lovejoy but he didnt want to move to Rangers :( :P

As for the online game, i cant remember exactly, but its somethign along the lines of one person goes to network game and chooses start network game, and they choose all the leagues and stuff, and also in preferences under options(menus at the top) make sure they have run as server ticked. They then set up the game, and get the i.p address, and give it to the other players, who go into network game and join and put in the address and choose their teams then u can play. Hope that helps.

Ok does anyone have a network game started

I took Bolton to 3 Fa Cups and a league win within 4 years

I was in my second year with inter but got fired. ok, so my first season didn't go too well, neither did the opening games of the 2nd. But 15 striaght league wins, moved to 2nd spot and i still got the damn unsatisfied board message after every game. the loss to juve, who were top btw, sealed my fate

I've just started with Man U

but to stay on topic, never tried online play... needed to let out my frustration somewhere

Only just got the game for Christmas and due to PC trouble have only just started it with Man U...

Has anybody got any tips on which players you can pick up that do the business... Not just the Zidanes etc, I mean the young players and bargins that come to fruit later on...

If you're Man United, which is as good a choice as any for a first game, check out the 17 year old kid called Mokoena, Julio Baptista from Seville, Freddy Guarin from Columbia and Ricardo Montolivo from Atalanta, aka, the new Totti/Del Piero/Baggio.

I'd be up for an online game if people are interested, I play online quite a bit so feel free to ask me any questions if you don't understand what's involved.

Im up for online.

And for 11m Gringo get Robinho. Hes a quality player in real life and although his stats arnt fantastic on FM he plays excellent. Im Real Madrid at the moment and I play him instead of Raul or Ronaldo all the time, hes my first choice. And Freddy Adu is a must. Hes quality and you can get him for free.

My only problem with the game is, I beat Albacete 7-0 and Osasuna 5-0 in my first 2 league games.

Whenever i start a new game i do the first option thing for adu. after 2/3 years when i buy him for 250k, hes worth 11+mil...
While Im not sure hwo they'd do for Man U, theres a lot of youngsters in the Scottish leage that are very cheap and always good for at least being a squad player. A few of them in my Betis side that won la Liga as well. McCormack from Rangers is a good striker, Namouchi as an attacking midfielder(although hes more expensive), and a lot from other teams. Craig Gordon in goals for hearts(Chelsea and Barca chased him in the game I'm on just now), Murray and Riordan from Hibs, Zander Diamond from Aberdeen and Willie McLaren from Airdrire(injured for first 3 months but very cheap and a very good left winger). Probably others too that I've forgot as well. And Mohammed Zidan and Vasco Faisca as a couple of overseas foreign players also well worth checking.

I'm nine points clear of Rangers in my first season with Celtic after 22 games. Cant afford many players but I got Adu in at the January transfer window. He cant play for the first team for some reason, maybe its because he is only 15. A load of my first team players contracts are running out in the summer and I cant afford to give them new contracts as the board wont let me give any more than £19,000 to any one player and the greedy footballers that they are want over £25,000.

For quality players, Everton and Tottenham have one or two good young lads that are cheap. Adu is well worth the money you pay for him aswell, I havent found any others yet as I havent played the game alot so far.
