Is it just me or is Randy Orton becoming Christian? Christian used to come to the ring, arms outstretched, under a shower of sparks, all cocky like he still is. He'd stand on the turnbuckle and continue the outstretched arms taunt.

Sound familiar?

Randy Orton seems to be getting the main event push that has eluded Christian, but with the precise same gimmick! Gotta wonder how Christian feels about that nowadays...

lol well it's only an entrance.. probably it's just a way of showing your great (well, that's what Christian thinks he is lol).

Christian seems to of gone off course recently.. He seems to be used, just to get a laugh....

Got to admitt, im one of Christians peeps...

I prefer the old Christian to Randy anyday...

Do you think Edge and Christian are "Back together" after PPV or was it just done for one night only? I would love to see them goofing around again.

Somewhat the same entrance as Christian's old one but for some reason I find Randy Orton's entrance better. Not to mention that arrogant post Orton does is better.(Like most of you hasnt done that pose in the mirror?)

Christian had his time in the spotlight. Now its Orton's turn.Besides nobody would take Christian seriously if he wanted to go after the World championship.Randy Orton on the other hand people would take more seriously.

Idont think they ll get back together there both full of themselfs and there both full of crap, i think edge will stay solo for now

what? what? what?

Christian has never had his time in the spotlight. They have never given this much underrated performer a main event push. They seem to believe that he is no better than IC belt level. For me he could be a more than adequate main event heel in the similar "hated" vein as JBL. In fact a move to Smackdown could be ideal for him.

Orton was much better as a heel, being a face he is much weaker and unable it seems to escape the cocky heelish behaviour of his previous character. It seems only 15 year old girls actually like him and the groan last night when he was left in the final 2 showed that no one cares about him. If they had built his turn like they are doing with Big Dave then I believe more people will care, but alas the chance has been taken and ruined.

As Christof just said, Christian really hasn't had his time in the spotlight, as a singles.

I don't take Randy Orton seriously, he gets a pop from the ladies, but that's about it. He's far to heelish to be taken seriously as a face. Christian, however, has got his gimmick down to a tee, an ultra arrogant heel. And he gets good heat off of it.

Christian's is the same size, as Jericho and Benoit, and is more charismatic than Benoit, and just as much so as Jericho. There seen as World Title contenders, so why not Christian?

He's fallen victim to some bad booking, as of late, but that can be turned around by having him go over the two names mentioned above.

I'd take Christian as World Champion over Orton any day of the week.

Christian has the charisma of a rat on Angel dust. Its nice to see him running inside of the wheel for our amusement. But would the powers that be have enough cajones to actually push him towards a feud with HHH or whoever the champion is at the time? Christian has only had one WWF title shot in his career.Do I think hes overdue for a shot? Sure do.

Orton is a 3rd generation wrestler. That alone has the makings of an arrogant heel that thinks hes all that. The Rock was the same way.(And rightfully so)

This is what makes Orton more believable as a heel than Christian.I mean lets face it Christian looks more like an irritating soul than a fierce contender to any title.

Even if they had Christian beat those names you mentioned it still wouldnt make anyone take him seriously about being a challenger for the World title. If Capt.Charisma wants to impress somebody have him take a steel chair and wrap it around HHH's head, thenhave him stand over his body, and hoist the World title up demanding a title shot.

Plus ,while this is going on have Tomko putting the boots to Ric Flair. This of course would set up some tag team matches between Evolution and Tomko and Christian. From there the rest would fall into place for future title matches with HHH and Capt.Charisma. That my friends would send Christian to the top of the spotlight.Nothing less will due.

franchy it would be easier to accept that we have differing opinions on this subject
Tell me something I dont know. :lol

I agree wholeheartedly that Christian should be in the title hunt picture. He's one of the reasons I tune into Raw each and every week. He has tons of charisma (he's the captian of it, after all), he's an entertaining character, despite his young age, he's a ring veteran and, above all else, he can actually perform in the ring.

I've always compared him as the IC Division's Triple H. As in he can have really good matched with just about anybody.

And even if they don't give him the belt, (Which I severely doubt will happen for a long, long time), you could at LEAST give him some shots! Let him show the fans what he has to offer...I'm sure he won't disappoint.

I don't agree jacko, I think that if he needed a caretaker champion, Captain Charisma fits the bill perfectly. I'm not sure I see Christian as a long term champ but having said that, I didn't see JBL as champ at all. I think if Vince gave CLB the ball, he'd at least try to run with it and do a good job while he was there.

You know what? I agree with TBEFan on this.Even if the WWE decides to not put the belt around Christian's waist at least give him the shot. We'll never know just how good he could be against stiffer opposition unless he is given the opportunity to do so. Didnt Vince say that its going to be a New Raw with new matches? Well? HHH vs.The CLB?

HHH goes for the Pedigree, wait reversal, Christian hits the unprettier!!!! 1-2-Ric Flair puts HHH's foot on the rope!!! Oh the drama along with the possibilities. :devil

Nice idea Franch but with them both being heels, it won't happen. And having either of them as face would just suck monkeynuts. CLB is a fab heel and as much as it sticks in my craw to say it, so is HHH.

So the moral of that is, put the WHC on a face and let Captain Charisma have a shot or 2.

See? THis is what I mean - he doesn't have to actually be the champ but Edge is portrayed as a contender, and Eugene and Benjamin get upset victories over HHH while Christian is... tagging with Tomko. Harsh. This this all bit out of whack (like Planet Stasiak!). Maybe the fact he was ALMOST in the Elimination Chamber is a good sign.

Then again the fact he was, wait... tagging with Tomko the next day on RAW means it meant nothing!

[EDITED]- No Spoilers!

I think we're all agreed that Christian deserves to be included in the title picture Brett, its just a matter of time when a face, ANY face is world champ. Having Christian turn face just to get a title shot is a non-starter IMO. CLB must stay heel.

Edge is a heel but yet hes gotten two shots at the title. One on Raw and one on a major PPV.Since Edge is now 0-2 IMO The CLB should have his shot somewhere down the line this year too.The Face and Heel thing is really nothing more than an excuse to hold people back from potential greatness.

The real moral here is this:Every man that sets out to be a professional wrestler has one goal:To one day be a World Heavyweight Champion. Whether you are a face or a heel shouldnt matter in the world of Pro Wrestling.

In the WWE its an unrealistic way to push talent.(But thats the way they roll) And thats one of the main reasons why they are not as good as they could be.(Plus thats why different federations are a step above them quality wise) Thats why the NWA will always be the best over the old WWF. Because they at least knew how to make the NWA World title picture worth watching. :worship

Christian is in my opinion one of the most gifted performers RAW has. He plays his character to a T and I would love to see him feud with Benoit for example for the big gold. The matches would be brilliant and the mic work of Christian would make it a feud to remember.
CLB must stay heel.

WWE must agree - I can't remember him being a solo face EVER! I may be wrong but he's certainly a long serving heel with no face turn in sight still. Even coming back from injury - an easy face turn that every one else coming back does he stayed the CLB.

Consistency of character. Yikes- you don't get a lot of that in the E...
