Bob Sapp would be entertaining.

Ultimate Warrior would make me mark out for a second or two.

John Nord would rule, I was a big Berzerker mark.

To be honest though, there aren't really any guys that the WWF can bring in anymore, they sort of have everyone that's of any use already except Brockberg and a couple of others. So unless it's a one night only deal, with someone like Warrior (which would make no sense anyway) it's just pointless.

What would be a real Royal surprise? One or both of the Raw/Smackdown championships changing hands would be nice.

I'd like to see Mohammad Hassan come out and elimate whoever was in the ring, standing alone going crazy on the mic, Real American hits, Hogan comes out to the single loudest ovation of the ENTIRE night, kicks his ass and eliminates him, then leaves and brawls with him all the way to the back, setting up their WM21 match.

PERFECTION!!!

I could dig that, there seems little point in building someone up as an America hater to get loads of heel heat unless you have some sort of American hero to get involved for the payoff.

There is no better American hero than Hogan, whether you like the guy or not, you can't deny he plays that role about as well as is humanly possible

thats one way to get Hogan on the card for WM21 as well. I hear Hogan is in much better shape now after his last WWE stint. He's had a new hip or something?
Theres a poll up now so get voting

I agree with BeltMark that would be pretty cool, but as long as their are at least a couple of surprise entrants/interference ill be happy, i love rumble's with 'surprises', like last year had Foley run out, Taker's gong going off, and Lesnar F5 Goldberg, but if you exclude those 3 things, it was a pretty average rumble.

So the first surprise would be having Coach the number 1 entrant, and Daniel Puder number 2! :P

Lawler doing a good job on commentary would be a right Royal surprise!

Belty's idea sounds brilliant, they would have to ensure that Hassan threw out at least 4 Americans to make him self look badass, Davairi could then get on the mic proclaiming his dominance of Americans, then as Belty says. Cushty!

Surprises in the Rumble are awesome. Sadly, I have heard that the 30th mystery guy this year will be the Iron Shiek, and he wasnt even capable of bumping over the top rope in 2001, so how will he do it in 2005! lol

Plus, we all know how it will end, Sarge will come out, lock in the Cobra Clutch, they will fall out of the ring and slowly.....oh so very slowly.....brawl to the back.

Lawler doing a good job on commentary would be a right Royal surprise!

I think the combo of JR and Tazz will save us from the King

If Hassan faced Hogan, surely he'd have to beat him, if Hogan's only there for Mania, and Hassan will be built up firther?

Definately. Hogan needs to put Hassan over if they were to work a match at Mania, and it would have to be via pinfall. Sure, it doesnt have to be clean (and I expect Hogan would see to it that it took everything including the kitchen sink for Hassan to go over him via pinfall at WM), but it has to be pinfall. People would lose their f'n minds!!! It would be awesome. Also, it sets up other Hogan appearances later if needed.

Hell, they could even feud over the WWE US title. Imagine Hassan holding the US title, the Yanks would lose it totally, and Hogan trying (and failing) to take it, and eventually getting it at SummerSlam or something, would be off the hook!

I'd hate Hogan to be in the Rumble, because as Beltmark said, the place would explode, which takes away from the Rumble winner, and as proven last year, the winner needs all the cheering he can get get (something Benoit had for all of seven seconds before no one cared again). I'd much rather Batista play the Diesel role this year, pretty much kill every undercard guy entered from 1-10, then have the next guy be a big star, like Kane or Snitsky or someone, just someone who could easily be perceived as being able to fight Batista. Then keep Batista as in as the main Diesel guy, keep him in for ages, have everyone trying to beat him up, then in the end, Batista cleans house, eliminates Flair, and then whoever is last (I suggest Edge) to win the Rumble. All focus on Batista, everyone cares, match declared a success.

Lesnar has also been contacting WWE recently about a return. WWE has gotten the word out that they 'have no interest in him' at this time. That could mean he will be the 30th man for SmackDown! in the Royal Rumble. WWE higher-ups may be trying to keep this top secret. We're just not sure yet. It is being talked about though.

Ill go lesnar for #30

Vader would be cool. 'cos they could a do a song and dance about nobody being able to lift him and then have him moonsault onto flair whose saggy man breasts get squished into his stomach allowing him to oversell as vader rolls him over

Or we could have decent writing...

I have to say that I love Belty's idea but think its almost a bit too obvious, even for WWE. I voted for Doink, coz he always made me laugh :D

That would be great if he could do a moonsault anymore. It was never that good at the best of times, just some big fat guy doing something that the Headhunters could do more smoothly anyway.

Vader rules though, and I know I'd mark out for him coming into the Rumble, wearing the old school metallic headmask thing with the smoke coming out, but it'd have to be a one night only kinda deal as he's way past it

If it is Lesnar, I'll crap my pants! Lesnar is awesome, and WWE NEEDS him. I dont buy into the whole 'Brock sold out' rubbish. He simply quit one job to go for one he preferred, just like every other working person alive has probably done more than once. Once he found out he couldnt do it, he decided to ask for his old job back, which I sure many have done too.

If Brock came out, the fans would go crazy, and it would be awesome.

I too would actually explode with joy with King Brock returned.... I wonder though if the fans would give him an ultra negative or ultra positive response though.

Either way, theres money to be made from it, but I don't think at the moment Vince is being very ambitious, to the detriment of us fans.

If it is the Iron Shiek on the other hand... I won't care in the slightest. Saying that, looking at SD's participants so far, it can't get much worse.

I agree Belty, Brock didn't sell out. He just left to follow a dream that hasn't worked for him. Better that than him staying in WWE and giving half-assed performances because he wanted to be elsewhere.
