Does any one else agree when I say the ending of MGS 2 was totally :sleep. I felt so dissapointed the first time.

why dosen't nobody notice the crahsed mech...well either a)the developers were too lazy or b)it's some sorta theroy conserning Radien and the patriots

if you look carefully the police are running around, but you know new yorkers they won't let anything get in there way.

The only reason the ending is dissapointing is because it leaves everything open for the next game. Oh and because of the utter crap Snake starts talking that Hideo probably thought was really clever.

You don't have to have a **** ending to leave ends open for the next game.

i thought the ending was pretty good, and the deep stuff at the end is to tie in with the idea of how much of being human is to do with information (that is why Raiden talks about things like commpassion). Where as in MGS1 it is to do with how much of humanity is genetic (liquid snake is one of solid's triplet brothers cloned from Big Boss, the villain in the original game, the other is solidus)

MGS2 was still one hell of a game, and even a crap ending couldnt really ruin it. It wasnt a great ending though was it, really a load of mumbo jumbo that didnt make any sense to 90% of the people who played it.

 

I thought that was the only problem with MGS2 (otherwise it was almost flawless)....it was just too clever for its own good storyline wise in some points. I had to play it twice to get a better grip of the storyline with the Patriots etc.

MGS2 rules the actual game up until the last 10 mins. The ending sucks thats all i can say the game is the best game ever but the ending a real let down
