Horror, cant beat classics like 'It',chucky and puppet master

Don't really have a type, but I like very, very dialogue heavy films - it could be a drama such as "Closer", or a comedy like "When Harry Met Sally" or a crime thriller like "Pulp Fiction", as long as the dialogue is cracking and well acted.

I wasnt sure where Gangster films would be classed under so Thriller will do.

Theres too many crossover films which are many genre's so I voted other, as I can't remember the last time I saw a film that was "purely" comedy or action.

please tell me you mean Ju-On: The Grudge and not the one with buffy.... i've not seen either but i've heard that Ju-On is way better

If you've not seen either, why would you care which one she means? My pal told me the U.S. version of 'The Grudge' wasn't much cop, but I loved it, Films are a classic case of 'each to there own'.

i care because The Japanese one is considered way superior, and i really hate that Hollywood has been taking foreign movies and doing horrible remakes

But Takashi Shimizu, who directed the original Japanese version, also Directed the U.S. version. Hollywood didn't take a foreign movie and make a horrible remake, Takashi Shimizu took his own film and made a IMO great remake.

maybe in Ju-On's case but the likes of Italian Job and the ring got pretty much blasted by people that had seen both... although the ring/ringu actually seems to depend on the version you watch first which one you prefer
