hell no... regretably, not that i want to see WWF lose more money but Vince needs a shock to get creative booking things properly again after all the Monday night wars are generally considered the best theat US wrestling has been

Nope.

DDP, Nash and Jarrett are all big names but they're also old news.

Raven should have been given that title last year and been allowed to run with the ball, but it wasn't to be.

The focus should be put on Styles, Daniels and AMW.

TNA fans know good wrestling and Nash and DDP isn't good wrestling.

i agree that ddp and nash and double j are way past their prime even though i personally consider 2 out of 3 of them icons. They still don't have enough superstars and firepower that wwe has. DDP hasn't been the same to me since he croke his neck. And Nash isn't who he used to be with the bum knee. And Jarret just plain sucks... Sorry to say it but it might be a long time until TNA gets off the ground. This was about as far as ECW got before they were bought out. Whats stopping Vinnie Mac from doing it again? They also need to stop taking the older wrestlers from the companies who won't book them anymore. They got a boost with Jeff Hardy but i honestly think they were wasting good money when they took in D'Lo Brown and Scott Hall :roll This is just they way it is sometimes. Edited by Quote the Raven

No and I dont think it was ever the intention to. Theyre offering a completely different product to what WWE are offering. I much prefer TNA, in fact if i had a choice of one more episode of TNA and no more ever again or continual WWE, I'd pick the TNA. But it was never the intention to make themselves direct competition to WWE, I dont think there ever will be one company against WWE again

But if you ask me, the competition has never been better. These days we have Ring Of Honor, TNA, 3PW, CZW and others which all have their own fanbases and a lot of them stick to that particular promotion. Maybe WWE doesnt have direct competion in the form of one big promotion like WCW trying to take away their viewers each and every week but all these smaller promotions mount up to form a different kind of competion and I for one think that once WWE realise it then the quality from all sides will sky rocket

Theyre not ready, I don't even think theyre anywhere near.

I only really watch TNA for the X Division which, if that wasnt there I dount TNA would be either.

With a stronger heavweight division then yes, maybe, but there's a whole lot more than good wrestling you need to be able to compete nowadays

No that will NEVER happen. TNA have a bad attitude and they need to sort it out...

and I said it before, and I'm gonna say it again: TNA are NOT in the WWE's league! :D

Thing is though fletch it's barely different at all. With exception to the X Division, what is different about it?

And WWE will never react to those companies, simply because they aren't competition. It would be like Man Utd spending 45 million on 2 players, because they saw that Stevenage Borough had just bought in 3 new players. They aren't even in the same galaxy let alone league.

TNA still needs more natural exposure and to tour further than the south,it`s good though toi see them do a different product to what wwe is churning out.

TNA is a superb product in my eyes and despite a few booking and hiring mistakes they have been pretty solid. I remember the first time I saw it being really impressed and I have been hooked ever since. The second show I saw was the X cup which just blew me away and probably cemeented my love for TNA. Around a year to 18 months in was when the product was at its best for and we had the classic series of AJ Styles v Abyss, the building up of Chris Harris, the X-cup and loads of other good things going on. However I would have stayed well clear of Nash and Hall and DDP.

On the subject of JJ I think he is a really great worker and at the end of the day would be in my top 50. He holds belts well, plays a great heel and knows how to put on great matches. He may be past his best in the ring but hes still cutting it fine.

Overall then TNA is not going to kick WWE's ass in the forseeable future. WWE is too big, has too many geniune stars and has the potential to put on much better shows than TNA. TNA is great though dont get me wrong I love it

guys like Nash, Hall, Double J, DDP are needed if TNA at least wants to get ahead of theother compeition. big names do pull crowds, i'm not saying that the TNA's lesser known stars arn't keeping the crowds but that initial pull is probably down to the work of the more establised guys.they help get the company attention and as time goes, when the lesser known guys start becoming big names in there own right then old timers can take a back seat. to get rid of them now would be foolish and i'm sure the owners know that, TNA is growing and while they have guys like Nash, Hall, etc it will help it to keep growing. how big it can get... hmmm... that's difficult to say. i can't see it been as big as WCW and be direct competition, certainly not within the next decade and only then if the WWE makes some horrid, horrid decisions, at best it could get somewhere between WCW and ECW but that's only if they do things properly and of course don't sell out to Vince. they would certainly get my attention too if they made a trip over to the UK sometime soon as well :D
