Fur Would You Wear It?

With all the uproar about cats and dogs being skinned alive for there pelts going on and how animals are having there backs broken by being swung around by their hind legs unitl the yelp and scream unmercifully for the skin off their backs I'm wondering how many of you would wear fur from any animal?

I would not wear fur. There's several humans that I would quite happily skin and wear their 'fur' but apparantly that's illegal, and a little bit childish.

No, I wouldn't wear it - I disagree with killing animals for fur, although I can understand the need to kill animals for food.

 

Fur is a luxury, food is a neccesity.

I would defo wear fur and i often wear my mothers old stuff (which is coming back into fashion!) I know people will say im cruel but I really dont give a ****! :D

I wouldn't wear fur ever. I think it looks tacky and vile (not to be confused with Taki and Vaile), and I don't agree with skinning animals mercilessly for the sake of fashion that looks disgusting.

If the animals were either killed humanely or died of natural causes then I would wear fur. I don't agree with animals suffering purely so I can keep up to date with the latest fashions.

I'm not one to wear killed animals' furs, however as Cherry said if the animal died of natural causes (and the fur happened to look rather snazzy) I may wear it

No. But only because I would look like a fool. I dont see a problem as long as the animal in question is eaten. Weird logic, but it makes sense. So dog fur in Korea yes. But unless you like the taste of corgi, your only killing it for superficial reasons, so thats a no-no. But to be fair there is no way you could tell if the fur had come from an animal that had naturally died, or killed to make a nice curry in the east. So it's easier just to boycott it altogether. But animal rights always seem to bring out everyones inner hypocrite, so it's never gonna be a straightforward topic.

Of course I would, especially fox fur, oh whoops best be careful might have the animal rights campaigners on my back again, after the fox hunting thread.

 

I've worn fur on many occasions, whats the point in whining about it, animals get killed every day by cars and such whats the harm in killing them for a purpose.

oh i forgot, deer skin is also okay as they are usually killed for venison but i'd only be happy to do so if it was killed by a professional hunts man not just some yahoo wih a gun which is the ting i don't like about the continuation in fox hunting, if they have pros shooting them and killing them outright then its fine but not some rookie that can't aim straight or having dogs maul them
