Guest Christof
Ok here it is... When I finish uni in June the Mrs wants to buy me a console, but I am having a nostalgia fix and am tempted instead to play my NES for a while until the next generation of systems come available. So should I stick with the NES or get a PS2, XBOX or GC?
Guest Anime Otaku
Get a 2nd hand GC or PS2 as their replacements are going to be backwards compatable anyway... i'll never buy a X-box though, Msoft are crooks
Guest A.C.
If I could only have one console it'd be the SNES. But you can download the emulator and all the ROMs anyway...
Guest Christof
yeah i haven't got a SNES though. I have just won the original Wrestlemania game (not Mania Challenge) on the NES for £1.20 so after such an investment I feel I need to stick with the NES for a while, may go and get it over the easter weekend! Guest voice of reason
PS3 and the next XBox will probably be with us by the end of the year so I wouldn't buy into the current gen right now. Instead, supplement your NES by thinking retro. I'd suggest a SNES N64 and Saturn. Shop around and you'll probably get all three for the price as a current gen system. Plus, it doesn't seem to have seen its prices rise sharply like other retro consoles: GameStation always seem to have a load of cheap NES titles in their window. And yet never actual NES hardware, even though I really really want one. It's incredibly frustrating.

Burakiosaurus
if you want a quality wrestling game then invest in an N64 and get yourself a copy of No Mercy ... the greatest wrestling game ever made in my humble opinion you can also grab Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Majora's Mask was shoddy by Miyamoto's standards) and many more ....... muh ha ha ha

No Mercy bar none is the best wrestling game ever. And the most underrated wrestling game ever was a game back in 1996 that was on the old PSX called Power Move Pro Wrestling. Truly deserved more attention than it received. The N64 indeed rocked. But Christof if I was you I would buy an X-Box or a PS2. The Xbox rocks! But the best wrestling games is on the PS2The PS2 rocks too!(At least until the next Wrestlemania game comes out for the X-Box)
