Greatest Faction of All Time?

Throughout the years of wrestling, we have seen many great factions pass through the business like sands through the hourglass. Except, some of the grains of sand are bigger than the others. I would like to know which factions u think are the greatest of all time?

Four Horsemen?

nWo (original)?

Wolfpack?

D-Generation X?

bWo? lol... Long live the blue meanie!

The Entire Dudley Family? (All 100 or so....)

Well you get the idea, any faction you like will do, these are just examples.

My personal favorite is DX

I think the nWo probably made the biggest Impact on the wrestling scene, but I think the best were The Four Horsemen, with Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham being the members.

nWo was probaly the most important, they helped kick start a wrestling industry that had been in a rut for 5 years and managed to repackage a stale Hogan who never really got over with the WCW fanbase when he first arrived back into his most succefull drawing days since the glory days of the 80s with a fresh character that people wanted to see, the nWo years probaly had some of Hogans best and worst work.

They also led to the begining of the end of that company through terrible booking (the nWo angle never ended it just stopped appearing on TV one week and "the finger poke of doom") and the politics that it thrieved with those who were part of it.

The Four Horsemen were probaly the best for producig great TV and promos while i'll always have a soft spot for the original Kaientai i Mickinoku Pro, which has been copied by ever Junior promotion in Japan and Mexico since.

The original nWo wasnt 80 bums, it was Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. They were the reason the boom period started and they were what triggered the formation of DX and the Attitude Era in the WWF, so the influence they have is unmatched.

So many to choose from, The Four Horsemen, nWo, DX, not forgetting Team No Respect, Team Canada, bWo, or The Heenan Family/Jimmy Hart's stable. The Dangerous Alliance, Legion of Doom and many more I have forgotten I would have to go with The Triple Threat as my favourite group of all time, Franchise, Candido and Bam Bam do it for me. Holding up the rear are Raven's Flock (ECW), The Job Squad, The Fabulous Freebirds, Demolition (once Crush joined, they became a faction rather than a team IMO) and The Oddities. **Last one not really included**

The original Legion of Doom with Hawk, Animal and Jake Roberts was awesome and pretty much forgotten. There was another member too, not including Paul Ellering but I dont remember who.

Gotta be The Four Horsemen with Ric, Tully and the Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Ole & Arn Anderson). They could all talk, they could all shoot and they could all wrestle and work a match with anyone. Top quality entertainment old school style.

The nWo and d-x were important factions for their time, but they both had members that could be "suspect" in the ring.

Special mention for Evolution (first time I could remember all the main titles in the same stable HHH-World, Orton-IC and Ric/Dave-Tag other than the Horseman)

the nWo have to have done that at some time.

But was that at the time where they had half the roster in the nWo?

Did i read correctly that The Hart Foundation were annoying :eek

Bret "Hitman" Hart

British Bulldog

Owen Hart

Jim "Anvil" Neidhart

Brian Pillman

now that was a faction. I remember when Owen won the IC belt from Rocky Maivia and then went up the ramp and handed it to Bret (who was in his wheelchair :( ) who had the Tag and European titles already on his lap not to mention the slammys :worship ahhhhh! the gold those were the days :lol

I thought the whole Austin vs. Hart Foundation feud was fantasic. At IYH 16 Canadian Stampede the 10 man tag match was awesome, so thinking about it,, the Hart Foundation are up in my favourites list too.
