Come on lets hear what the TWOites favourite botched spots are.

The most memorable ones for me are Brock Lesnar's shooting star press at WM19 and Owen Hart's piledriver at Summerslam 97

I prefer "missed spots" which are funny

I can't remember which PPV - Dudleys & Jeff Hardy vs Rico & 3MW:

Jeff had gone off for a table swanton, Rico was setup on the top turnbuckle and expecting Jeff to return for a top rope move - after waiting for about 30 seconds he yells something like "Jeff, get your ass back here" :D

I can't say Owen's piledriver was a favorite as it screwed up SCSA's career :P

I wouldn't call it a favourite but it was memorable none the less

That was Survivor Series 2002, Fill. I have it on DVD, I'm gonna have to go watch it now to hear that :D

Survivor Series 2002...Spike, Bubba & Jeff Vs. Rico & 3MW.

Anyway, Probably the Shooting Star Press by Lesnat at WM XIX, and the Inverted Piledriver by Owen to Austin, so yeh the same as you Edge Head.

lol, im doing the exact same thing, i have it on DVD aswell.

I just remembered another one that really made me laugh. At St Valentines Day Massacre when you clearly heard Ken Shamrock say to Ryan Shamrock "Slap me" :lol

i remember a match between austin and foley (cant remember how far back) where austin got the finisher and went for the pin. the ref stopped at two expecting foley to kick out, when it was supposed to end.

austin ended upo doing the finisher again, and i believe his words to the ref were 'count the f'n 3'

lol' date=' im doing the exact same thing, i have it on DVD aswell.[/quote']

And me... and sorry to disappoint, but Rico's comment is cut out on the DVD! :eek

Yes, it happened - but WWE staged a cover up of Roswell like proportions (approximate value).

oh oh, and at Capital Carnage, Billy Gunn pinned D-Lo & you could clearly hear Bill Gunn say..."Thats It Stay Down"

when the creative team decided to give cena the title
seriously though.. mine would be the brock lesnar shooting star press
when the creative team decided to give cena the title

lol, i couldnt agree more.

Some people botch the same moves so many times it kind of becomes their signature - like Jeff Hardy running the security barrier for a "flying" clothesline. He botched that on Raw every week for months, I swear! :lol

Billy Kidman's springboard SSP usually ended as a Shooting Star headbutt on his opponent as well.

The Dropkick of Doom at the 2001 Royal Rumble.

angle vs rock at No Way Out 2001 for the wwf title. Rock gave Angle the Rock Bottom and this was supposed to be the finish but the referee only counted for a 2 count. The Rock proceeded to give Earl Hebner a dirty look. he seemed to whisper to angle that he was going to give him another rock bottom. he gave 2nd rock bottom and gave hebner another dirty look and told him to count the 3 and rock won back the belt

Triple Threat Match at Summerslam 2000 between Angle and Rock and HHH where Angle suffered a legitamate concussion from a pedigree on announce table i think ( i could be wrong ) , he was taken backstage but recovered and came back out and finished the match

The Dropkick of Doom at the 2001 Royal Rumble.

I dont remember that, When billy Gunn back dropped Hardcore Holly over the top rope and he was surrpose to go through the extra announcers table that JR put there but Hardcore complateley missed it.

It's a house show (available on "Inside the WEF" tape) and Bret Hart is fighting Yokozuna in a cage match. It's one of those cages with the big huge squares, not the ones they use now. Anyways, Bret is at the top and just lies there for five minutes waiting for Yokozuna to get up (he is lying down), he pretends to get his foot stuck, but he stes it free and Yoko is still on the ground, finally, Yoko gets up but staggers and Bret it still sitting there on the cage, waiting and when Yoko finally gets him, Bret punches him and Yoko falls down, so Bret pretends to fall as well. Wow, I hope that makes sense.

Kidman's shooting star press on Chavo.

And the SummerSlam '00 incident with Angle getting the concussion because the table broke too soon.

It involved Matt and Jeff. Jeff dropkicked Matt, and then Matt sold it. 3 seconds later.

Jackie Gayda and Trish Stratus from July 2002 deserves a mention. As JR called it " bowling shoe ugly " . It was a disaster. It was mixed tag with jackie and chris nowinski against trish and bradshaw or jbl as he is known now. jackie made a mess of this match

Also on the same night if memory serves me correctly there was a 10 man tag team match where nash was running in the ring and tripped over earl hebners leg and injured himself badly

That was a bad night for Raw

Ah I'd forgot about that Gayda match. Jeez that bout was different shades of awful.

Got to be Lesnar's shooting star botch for. Can't get more high profile than doing it in the Mania main event.
