I've just got an Xbox, Paula gave me the chance to pick anything I wanted having got my degree and I chose an Xbox over a PS2. As much as I like the cube it was never in the running due to no Cricket games being available.

 

So have I made the better choice?

No! The PS2 has a better games libary IMO and the second best controller behind the GC where as the X-Box is just lardy imo. Plus you don't get the great unique games you do on the GC like the mario francises.

The PS2 has the bigger library as it's older technology - hell, get a GameBoy as it's got the bigger library, or maybe a PS1 :P

 

 

If you want online games or video quality, the Xbox is the right choice

Personally if we're gonna go by the controllers I think Christof's made the right choice! I don't like where the analogue stick thingies are on our PS2 controllers, I find them awkward to use. Even though the X Box controller is bigger, I find it much easier to use. :)

Personally though, because of the price of the consoles, I buy all of them

 

We have 2 Xboxes, 1 PS2 and 2 GameCubes (1 UK and 1 US)

 

It's the games which are the expensive parts, so it gives you the choice of which game you want

I've got an Xbox, I refused for ages to get one on the basis of the controllers but nw I've got one I wouldnt got back to PS2. As for games well depends what games you want really as most games now come out on all formats, I only got a console because I wanted to play NFS2. I think you've made the right decision.

 

I'm just waiting now for Xbox 360 to come out. Already saving for it hopefully before xmas.

Pretty much what the manager of Game told me! So with pro Evo on the XBox now it was an easy choice in the end.

 

So I played it for the first time during the tea break in the cricket, Wrestlemania 21 graphics are superb, one question though, Career Mode is blanked out, how do I get to have a career? Do I need a memory thing for my controller?

Yes my PS2 snobby friend I do. As I said, had the latest cricket releases also been on the GC, I would have stayed loyal to Nintendo.

Do I need a memory thing for my controller?

The Xbox comes with a hard disk, so you don't need to throw money at memory cards, unless you want to take you saves somewhere else

 

It's one of the things I love about the Xbox - never having to find the memory card with the save you want on it :P

I still can't get career mode to work though!

I've not got WM21, so I don't know how to unlock the Career Mode - sorry
