I'm suprised that no one has mentioned this yet.

 

Being as cheap as they are (and with my mate raving about it) I decided to get myself one.

 

I got Wave Race, Tony Hawk and Star Wars Rogue squadron. Boy does it kick ass !

My PS2 is just sitting in the corner of the room gathering dust, what with GTA3 and MSG2 being the only games that are any good for it (before you start, FFX ain't my sort of game).

 

Now i'm just waiting for Resident Evil (It's hard to believe that I haven't played any of the other games) and Metroid Prime then that'll prove Nintendos machine rules !

I do agree that the GameCube is good, I got Star Wars & Luigis Mansion. I haven't really played on the Cube as much as I would have liked, however it is still a great console and I can't wait for WM X8 and Zelda to be released.

Yes, I can't wait for those two. Apparently theres two Zelda games in the make, with the cartoon one and a "proper" one. That should please the people who whinged about the new cel shaded graphics.

I got a Cube last year in September ordered from Japan. They did give me the lead to play PAL game's but unfortunately, the lead doesn't work so i have to order my game's. I got Luigi's Mansion and WaveRace. I'll order some more next week and I should be able to purchase some game's which ain't been released in the UK.

The only gamecube game I've played is Sonic Advance 2. I wasn't very impressed. And only 2 good PS2 games!!? What do you mean - look at Gran Turismo 3, Timesplitters, Half-Life, Smackdown 3, Resident Evil, Silent Hill 2, need I go on!? :mad

Smackdown 3 is a good game??????????? Resident evil, can't I get that on nearly every other system? Half-life, prefer the PC version. Timesplitters? GT3 has decent graphics but thats about it.

Silent Hill 2, hmmm well not really.

 

Sonic Advance 2? That hasn't even come out yet. As for Sonic Adventure, it's not the best game in the world but it's worth a play.

i much prefer the cube to the playstation on account of quality games! Look at the GC launch line up they've got more quality games on launch (UK release) than what the PS2 has got now!!

That is complete nonsense... Although I like both system's, quality PS2 game's out number the quality Gamecube game's at least three to one.

As much as I really like nintendo, at the moment PS2 have the best game line up around. Maybe in a few months when The Cube get some more games released then it will be better, they are some great games for the Cube such as Rouge Leader & Super Smash Bros. Meele, however they are few and far between games that are as good for the Cube, just give it a few months.

Whoops, i meant Sonic Adventure of course! I have to say though, the fact that you prefer other versions of games is irrelevent... the point I was making was that there are good games for the ps2, and inferior or not these are good games. I guess GT 3 is a matter of opinion cause I like it...
