Raw's Greatest Moments

What with Raw Homecoming this week I was just thinking about the most memorable Raw moments in the last 12 years....and there are so many to choose from that it's hard to single one out as the greatest ever.

Was it the night Mick Foley won the WWF Title from The Rock?

Was it the night DX invaded WCW?

How about the night Shane McMahon appeared on Nitro?

Stone Cold's 'beer bath' on the corporation?

I could go on and on but I'll let you guys throw some suggestions in :xyx

Oh man the nostalgia! In addition to the ones you put forward:

RVD and dreamer running interferance and then Heyman coming out and bringing back ECW (too bad the whole alliance thing then happened, i would rather forget that)

Oooo, Austin kidnapping Vince and then bringing him out to the ring and threatening him with a toy gun prompting Vince to wet himself. Infact that was the first RAW that i ever watched.

Kurt Angle on the milk truck.

So many great angles over the years!

The 9/11 Raw (I think it was Raw) was very good, moving in parts like the singing the national anthem and some of the Promos but some funny stuff to like the Rock and Shawn Stasiak segment

Booker wee, it has too be booker wee:p

also i liked when RVD and Dreamer showed up

Triple H getting injured was good in his tag match against Jericho and Benoit

the fatal fourway tag ladder match was good too. Kane vs. Rob Van Dam & Jeff Hardy(which made a very good team for spot matches) vs Bubba-ray Dudley & Spike Dudley vs. Christan & Chris Jericho

why was that a good moment? HHH suffered an Injury that could of ended his career (thankfully it didnt) and it kept him out of a storyline that he would of been good in (InVasion) so that CETAINLY wasnt one of RAW greatest moments.

RAW memories.....

Vince wetting himself after Austin chased him all over the building.

Shane O'Mac standing in a WCW ring after Vince bought them out.

The D-X parody of The Nation of Domination.

The Owen Hart tribute show.

Guest The Franchise

The Franchise's greatest Raw Moments:

1.The Rock's promos.Everytime the great one spoke it was as good as GOLD! :)

2.Vince vs. Austin-Everytime Vince screwed Stone Cold Austin came back with something even more harsh. ;)

3.Stone Cold Promos.Same as the Rock, when Stone Cold spoke it was nothing short of the highlight of every night. :devil

4.When HHH,Austin, and Vince joined forces after beating the Rock inside of a steel cage. :xyx

5.The Owen Hart tribute. That was without question the most emotional tribute of all time. The one event that united the pro wrestling world.God bless Owen Hart :worship

6.The ECW/WCW invasion

7.When Austin stunned somebody week after week. :D

8.When the McMahons were feuding among themselves.Always funny.

Etc;

was it RAW where stone cold decided to come out and kick the alliances ass all over the place? that was pretty good though shortlived

It was mate and it is my favourite RAW moment ever. It was the RAW before Invasion'

Leading up to that RAW he was heel Austin and it was that episode he decided to switch back to help the WWE. If you remember he was at a bar playing pool when the Bros, of Destruction - Taker & Kane were making their way to the ring for a match againsty DDP and Rhyno.

Half way through the match a few WCW and ECW guys stormed into the ring and started pounding the Bros'. Some WWF followed and evened up the numbers only to be outnumbered again as more WCW/ECW came.

All the way through the show the camera had been following Heel Austin as he contemplated making an appearance.

Austin eventually turned up in his pick-up with a pool cue and started whooping any WCW and ECWers he saw.

Back in the ring WWF were getting slaughtered and the crowd (seeing that he had turned up) started chanting for "AUSTIN, AUSTIN, AUSTIN..." it was PERFECT timing as just as the chant got huge the glass shattered and out comes Austin talking away as he walks down to the ring. Such an amazing moment!

Austin runs the final few yards and starts opening up a can of whoop a$$ on absolutely anything that wasn't WWF.

He the puts the Stunner on about 10 of them. Some of the sells were beautiful.

When the smoke clears, you see Austin, 'Taker, Angle and Kane left in the ring.

That was a great episode but am i the only one who was slightly worried with the amount of cheers from the crowd when Austin held the gun to Vince's head. :eek

Yeah because seeing one man beat down the WHOLE comepetition was great :?

You've got to realize: a super-over (anti-)face goes heel. That makes the fans sad, and they cry. Until he turns good again, just when he's needed the most. Thus he achieves super hero strength. It's a text book wrestling angle.

When DX was arrested, and the police asked Dogg for his real name:

*sigh* ... Dees.

I was like: WHAT!? Is that really his name!?

....NUTS!!!!

It wasn't that funny, but I just couldn't believe I fell for it.

My choice was the night when Jericho won and lost the title. Hebner's head being turned by Trips and then HHH later being told Austin would be at Backlash, that was such an amazing episode of RAW. The crowd went CRAZY when Jericho pinned Hunter.

Austin's funeral.

10 man tag was such an awesome match, I totally marked out for Kane.

Plus many more...
