Austin hasn't lost it yet.

Why are everyone so Anti-Austin?

I think it was a plot by Debra to further embrass Austin, why? let me tell you.:idea

Debra probably thinks that Austin's reputation can be further ruined if she did that.

Debra probably harmed herself and blamed it on Austin, I just refuse to believe Austin would do it because in the film "Beyond The Mat" Austin seems like a nice chap.

Remember Austin is under intense pressure and I would leave Austin alone.

I :worship Austin.

Austin is only in "Beyond the Mat" for about 30 seconds

and why would Debra want to ruin Austin's reputation?

Wifebeaters dont have it tattoed across there forehead you know.Nobody really knows what goes on behind closed doors a persons public image is often very different to there private one.For you to base your whole argument around the fact that Austin 'seems' like a nice guy is very weak indeed.

Austin Hasn't Lost It Yet

Your thoughts are interesting.

I cannot deny that I do worship Austin, I do find Austin entertaining.

Austin hits his wife? what?

Surely not, he doesn't look like he is the type that hits the wife.

I honestly do believe Debra is trying to destroy his career, because probably Debra had enough of Austin and wanted to destroy him just like Steve McMichael.

Currently Steve McMicheal is in "Where are they now" files BECAUSE of Debra.

Its that the situation sound very curious, Austin has a yellow corvette car, BUT I know he owns a black truck and not a Corvette probably it was Debra.

THINK........Austin are under pressure because he's not happy with WWE current direction and I agree WWE officialy stinks now and I no longer watch WWE TV shows apart from WWE Velocity and SmackDown!.

I think it was all a plot to destroy Austin.

I blame the WWE for making Austin go AWOL and I hope Austin does tell Vince McMahon where to go and come back to WWE.

Already WWE is boring without Austin.

What?

Leave Austin alone, he just need time to think

I :worship Austin

As we all know, rich and famous people only have one car... :roll

What a stupid thread. I don't know if you made a single valid point there Peter. I too am a massive fan of Austin but he has acted totally wrong. Your comments on Debra are downright bullshit. The only person to blame for this whole thing is Steve Austin. Not Vince McMahon, not the creative team and certainly not Debra. If only you would take those rose-tinted spectacles off for a minute you would see that.

No-one truly knows what really happened in the whole Austin-McMahon and Debra situations.

Take the ''rose-tinted spectacles'' off and maybe you'd realise that,

I can see my thread has caused controversy amongst the TWO forums and I apologise if I have upset people.

The reason I posted this thread is simple.

To voice my thoughts on Austin.

I think Austin finally lashed out after months of intense pressure which can be attributed to the nWo arrivial last February.

Austin was very upset putting in a feud with Scott Hall which Austin resent.

Austin was right to voice his thoughts and requested the WrestleMania match to be short and lower down the card so he can get in, do the work and get out of the SkyDome in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

He then walked out for two weeks saying it was burnout which I believe, I would be burnt out if I had to deal with idiots and a man who seems be unable to stay off being drunk.

Then he returned and was thrown in a feud with Ric Flair which did Austin NO favours since it was like Austin VS McMahon.

Then Austin was asked to lose to Brock Lesnar without any hype and storylines.

Understandly I can see why Austin was upset, putting Lesnar over can kill Austin's popularity as fans will think, why is Austin losing to Lesnar? Lesnar aren't even here long!

Then to make matters worse WWE decided to make the situation a field day and remove Austin from the official Raw website and the official StoneCold.com website even was stopped updating.

WWE released a statement on WWE.com about Austin and there the McMahon and Ross shoot on Confidential.

Austin I am sure by now regret hitting his wife (Even I don't think he did it) and can be cleared under mental stability (Under trememdous pressure).

I'm sure if I was under intense pressure by my employer and facing accusations of assault I probably would be dead or gone in hiding by now.

I suggest you give Austin a break he need a break.

I think Austin didn't do it, if there was conclusive proof (where there isn't by now, only the police record form) I'm sure Austin regret it.

Austin is just a ordinary man under huge pressure, and I can understand this because everyone seems to be Anti-Austin and WWE even seems to be against Austin.

I hope this reply can explain why I am going on about Austin issue because I am one of Austin's fans and I even has posters of him on my bedrooms and I even stayed up at WrestleMania 14 when he won the WWE World Title for the first time.

Whatever happens to Austin, he will always be my favourite wrestler and (when I was a teenager) my hero.

You may rubbish my earlier claims because I didn't have time to post and type as I have to update my website.

Now that I have time, I thought I could give my full explanaton as of why I am on Austin side.

If anyone took perhaps 5 minutes to see and understand what Austin has gone through.

I am sure Austin regrets the incident.

I hope this clear up the whole controversy started by me.

As always I sign off by saying:

I :worship Austin

I agree with most of your last post there Peter. I am by no means anti Steve Austin. The guy was and still is one of my favourite performers. I just feel that by not turning up for work he was thoroughly unprofessional.

I agree with other people on Austin non-show was unprofessional but I think that if Austin did a "walkout" he could force the writers to change the storyline OR outcome of a match and that would make Austin feel powerful.

And as it turned out WWE remained strong and Austin didn't like that and staged a walkout.

Its a shame what happened and probably Austin career and reputation are damaged with what has happened.

First time around : I agree

Second time: I agree in certain areas with Austin.

As always I sign out by:

Peter, this is beyond merely walking out on his job - this is now a man that assaults his wife. Go read a few sites and see the Police report for yourself.

"I think it was a plot by Debra to further embrass Austin, why? let me tell you.

Sorry, but that is easily the most stupid and possibly offensive thing I think I've read in these forums!

Point 1 - How would Debra get believable marks on her back?

In fact, I can't believe I'm even going through a list here - the man hit his wife - no amount of pressure, no amount of personal problems ever... EVER makes that right. If that really is what you feel, then woe betide any woman you are / ever become involved with... website not going to well? BAM!

FOR GOD'S SAKE MAN!!! Use your brain and think before you post such utter, UTTER, drivel... sorry to be harsh, but this entire thread that you have started is sheer crap.

look, peter, your talking crap. Noone who doesn't stone cold personally can say he's a great guy, he could be anything for all we know. He beat his wife, he deserves backlash over it, its a despicable thing to do
