Anyone seen Scotsman's preview?

The game looks identical to Champ Man, but I suppose that's a good thing as I'm quite keen on the layout.

EWR lacked the tiny details of running a promotion, but Head To Head looks to have that area covered. I can't wait until I make a DVD of Steve Lombardi's Greatest Matches.

Anyway, what do you think of the game? EWR beater?

hmm...Its gonna be a tough choice, EWR being released first gave it a distinct disadvantage, as H2H can make some of the poor bits into a better version.

Looks-wise, H2H will kick bottom, but I'll wait to see its gameplay before I decide. Will PW2 (if ever released) beat the both of them though?

I think that H2H will be a fair bit better than EWR. My first impressions of the screenshots were like Russ' - exactly like Championship Manager. You can tell that they have stolen some of Championship Manager's concepts but if you are going to steal stuff you might as well steal off something good.

If anyone hasn't seen the Scotsman review, you can find it at this link

Head 2 Head will be awesome, probably a fair way better than EWR.

The programmers are taking their time over it which is no bad thing. It does look like CM but hey I'm sure we've always dreamed about a wrestling version of CM right?

As for Promotion Wars 2, who cares. It's unlikely to ever get released, and the first one was awful. It wasn't really a game as such, it wasn't even as good as Extreme Warfare Deluxe, EWR's predecessor.

Take a look at the latest update for EWR, its improved 10-fold in my opinion, including a scouting list, where you can keep track with wrestlers developments.

Also included are 2 more Internet sites (way better than the original) and some more matches (Inferno and First Blood) as well as more Angles

Inferno and First Blood matches have always been there Verbo :xyx

Anyway, I agree that the latest version is an improvement, but several people I have talked and myself agree, that it can be very hard to play it for long, because it gets so EXTREMELY repetitive.

This looks great, much better looking than EWR.
