TNA WRESTLING: COMING TO DETROIT ON MARCH 17!

TNA Wrestling is coming to the Detroit Metro area. The stars of TNA will invade the Compuware Arena in Plymouth, MI on Friday night, March 17th, 2006! Come see live and in person all the hard hitting, high flying, innovative wrestling action that truly makes Total Nonstop Action Wrestling the new face of professional wrestling. This show will not be televised, so the only way to see all the action and drama unfold is to be there live!

The main event will feature NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett facing off against Detroit’s own Rhino.

X Division Champion Samoa Joe will be in action against “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles in what promises to be an unbelievable matchup.

Other matches include:

NWA Tag Team Champions America’s Most Wanted vs. The Naturals

“The Monster” Abyss vs Sabu

Ron “The Truth” Killings vs Team Canada’s Bobby Roode

“The Alpha Male” Monty Brown vs Chris Sabin

Plus four more matches.

Belltime for this event is 8PM at the Compuware Sports Arena in Plymouth, MI, just off M-14 at Beck Road. Tickets start at $10 and are available through Ticketmaster and at the box office.

TNA is on the move. Hopefully they'll have a good showing there and get a decent traveling schedule.

Finally: It's good to see TNA doing a show away from Universal Orlando. Hopefully now along with their TV coverage on Spike and more regional house shows in the pipeline, they will continue to grow from strength to strength.

$10 !!! That's a steal. Kip James was talking to the LAW boys on Sunday and was saying that a UK tour was in the works too. Meltzer also believes a UK tour would be a great idea.

Guest carlito is cool
great news they need to get on the road and eventually start doing tv tapings in different arenas. Even the wwf in 97-99 as hot as it was would have lost alot of its edge if every single tv taping was made in the same building.

but again WWE try and hurt TNA:

Jeremy sent this: Not sure if anyone caught on, but the first ever TNA house show is on the 17th in Detroit and the very next night, WWE will tape the first SNME in 13 years, also in Detroit. Think WWE doesn't see TNA as competition? It's very hard to believe that WWE just randomly picked Detroit on the same weekend as TNA's first house show in the same city.

WWE are scared of TNA :D:D

TNA will be holding a house show March 17th in Detroit at the Compuware Sports Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. The building can hold around 4,500 people for a wrestlign event. It appears that The Insane Clown Posse's Psychopathic Records will be promoting the show. Tickets go on sale from Ticketmaster this Monday.

I think TNA will be lucky to sell the venue out, but with some Detroit natives like Rhino, Sabu and Chris Sabin they may get a good crowd.

Thats true, WWE are barely making 4,500 people at house shows. Although this is pretty much a special deal so I'm quite sure it will sell out or get close.

Except in Puerto Rico where a house show consisted of 15,000 people. :P

I can see them selling out, especially with all the Detroit/Michigan natives on the roster. I think if TNA can get a somewhat decent house schedule going, they will really be able to break out.
