Ashley suffered a spiral fracture of the left fibula, a non weight-bearing bone, Monday night while competing in the Diva Battle Royal to crown a No. 1 Contender for the Women's Championship. Surgery will not be required, however, Ashley will be in a cast for four weeks.

So Ashley really did hurt herself on Raw in the match, atleast this will keep her out of the ring for a while!

(Not sure if this has been reported already if so please close and sorry)

Good,i hope she gets sacked as a result of it as she didn't pay her dues and shouldn't be in the spot she's in right now.
Im certainly no fan of Ashley Massaro, and I dont know about everyone else, but for me its never nice to hear that a WWE Superstar has been injured and is out of action for a while. I hope she recovers soon, and comes back to the job she loves doing.

I wouldn't care if they sent her down to OVW when she rehabs from the injury. She could use the training, well the entire Womens division could use some training, som LONGGG training.

Except Victoria of course.

My sentiments exactly.

Well, at least she is going to be missing too much TV time, hopefully. Her, Maria, and Trish are the only divas I like, and especially Ashley. Yea, I'm a guy, I like to look at her. Sue me.
To be honest I'm not a fan of Ashley either, but whilst watching RAW I was concerned when I realised that something had happened.
How did she actually break her leg???
I think when she was elminated. I know she and Mickey were on the floor for quite a while, and that's when the paramedics came out. I suppose ti could of happened before, but I think the elimination is most likely.

I hate to hear this even though she isn't very good in the ring. It's never good to hear about an injury.

Nobody getting hurt is "good". That's a horrible thing to say whether you like her or not.

It was only a matter of time really, I'm surprised she lasted this long without hurting herself and others, she's managed to botch every single move she's ever attempted so far.

Still, I hope she gets better soon, then released.

Apparantly she is really upset and devastated about being out of action.
I like her.....at least she's not another pretty-girl clone like the rest of them.....she tries (or tried if she doesn't come back) to at least look different from the interchangable Divas on the shows, with her "I've been to Blue Banana, look what I bought" outfits, she at least stood out from the rest.
She's probably one of the best Wrestling Divas on RAW, alongside Trish, Victoria and Mickie. A pity that she broke her leg, but it should give her time some more time down in OVW when she has recoevered to improve her Wrestling.

Lets not go nuts here. Ashley along with the rest of them are just horrible in the ring, Ashley being one of the worst. Almost as bad as Torrie and Jackie Gayda, well probably just as bad really.

Dave is 100% right. I will give Ashley props for trying to be good but that doesn't mean she's good. She's horrible in the ring.

Thats true however remember when Trish first started out she was pretty much like Ashley was now and then she became a decent female wrestler so who knows she might do it again.
At least Ashley actually WANTS to be a wrestler instead of silly eye-candy......so there is a small sliver of hope for her.

It would help if they were good to begin with! They are on tv every week getting ring time, where a guy working his ass off for years is sat at home watching these kindergarden wrestlers without a clue injuring themselves.

Point is, people say "ooh Ashley is really trying to learn how to wrestle, thats great". No it's not really! Learn to wrestle for a few years in wrestling schools, or on indie shows, then show what you can do. Learning how to do an armdrag and then getting the title matches is utterly retarded. That's why I HATE the womens division, and I have absolutley no time or interest for it.

If Ashley is really improving, and if Trish is so great, stick them in the ring with the Joshi girls. Then sit back and laugh!
