In addition to confirmation that the game is coming to stores later this year, the most interesting piece of information actually relates to the systems on which the game is coming out -- which embrace PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions besides the expected PS2 and PSP SKUs.

As for new match types, I'd say Playboy Pillow Fight match. Thats about the only one they haven't put on a game yet.

I am really looking forwards to the next Raw vs. Smackdown game, from those shots the graphics are looking good, I just hope the storylines get a bit of an improvment as I thought the last lot were a little weak

I don't know whether I'll get this game or not. I'm more excited about TNA's video game. I could end up getting this game too though.

I actually didn't buy Smackdown vs Raw 2006, i never got round to it and to be honest, i wasn't altogether that bothered anyway.

 

I've detatched from WWE on TV, and it appears i've detached from WWE games also.

Another thing I found interesting is that you'll be able to update the roster from the internet.

I really hope they make it so the broken tables don't just vanish, I know in the video they did, but perhaps with a few more months they can find(stopbeingsodamnlazy) a way. It's small touches like this that would make all the difference.

It would be nice if they made picking up a table look like you're picking up a table rather than a set up one disappearing and a folded one appears in your hands. I also hope they make it so the crowd are there, but move when you go over the barrier, so it's not like every arena is having some work done on the side entrance.

KEN-NE_DYYYYY! Looking forward to it, im finding little bits in 2006 that i didnt before hand, that said, i STILL go back to Here come the Pain's story mode. In terms of the amount of hidden stuff in there, its by far the best of the Smackdown series. Though the gameplay mechanics are obviously more sophisticated than R v S 2006. I want them to keep all the music in there for create a wrestler. I like Batista's old music and Goldbergs theme for example, and if WWE have the license i dont see the problem really.

They really need to beef up the story mode again i feel, i want to be able to influence friendships/rivalries with my actions dammit!

They have to drop the voiceovers for that, something I'm sure they'll refuse to do.

It sounds like it'll just be the same as the last one with better graphics. If it's on PS3, I want HDD features. Every match. Every choice. They should all have an effect on future storylines in the game. It needs more continuity than the real thing.
