Great news for a truly inspirational wrestler who has sacrificed his body for years.

Here's hoping he gets an opportunity to shine used correctly. This should also help him to pay off some of those medical bills and give him the security he so rightly deserves.

Let's also hope his body also stays together.

With EC Dubya being back and all, thats a massive booster! We have, a figurehead! Get New Jack, and Balls, and Mikey Whipwreck and Mike Awesome next please!

Very shocking seeing that he was booked for Lockdown as well on his return, obviously the idea of Heyman and ECW swayed this decision and this has shown that many could do the same, I mean we all know Rhyno and Dudleys will be treated properly in the ECW brand type thing starting in september.

Sabu going to WWE was not a shock in the slightest. I am actually surprised he wasn't signed to a deal after last years ECW PPV.

As for those in TNA I can't see Raven going or the Dudleyz for that matter. At the end of the day it will still be a WWE contract and Raven has stated he won't work for the WWE and the Dudleyz weren't exactly happy about losing the use of their name.

and the Dudleyz weren't exactly happy about losing the use of their name.

But if they return to WWE, they'd be able to use their names againm which would make them happy, no?

I'm not sure WWE would want Raven back, but I think they could easily get back the Dudleys...Z

when do you think Sabu will debut on RAw olr Smackdown then ... ? Was he actually at Lockdown on Sunday?? Sabu is awesome I'd love to see him in a proper feud in WWE but will he be limited ... ?

I'd love WWE to re-sign Mike Awesome - as genuine big man who can wrestlie to a high ability and also do high riskmoves. IMO a potential WWE championship contender if used right.

Wasn't Awesome named as the ECW co-booker with Heyman? As for Sabu, good news indeed, TNA will be tearing their hair out a bit. Though I am surprised he was able to go, could he have been near the end of his contract?

TNA might have had Sabu on a show-to-show contract.

If so, then the WWE nabbing him was good for them, if only for the name recognition for ECW.

I think one of their problems with TNS (I refuse to call it ONE Night Stand) is that a lot of the old ECW stars are either in TNA, retired, or working abroad.

Do you think that this will be a mostly WWE populated show?

I think they'd use B-list former ECW talent first. But I have a feeling there will be ECW worker vs WWE worker matches, to fill up the card

Tommy Dreamer was going to help with the booking of the new ECW.

Hopefully the WWE funded ECW will be able to get most of the band together back again. I mean as Mr P said if Team 3-D did come back they would be able to get the dudleys name back and also they would also feel like there more at home.

Sabu didn't have a contract, and was easy to sign. Team3D, Raven and Rhyno aren't going anywhere for at least a year. Although Team3D are way past it, and I would love to see the back of them. Brother Runt can stay.
