Bought back my soul from Sony.

I, as some may have noticed, have being singing the praise of Sony here as of late.

Today however I decided screw Sony why wait for PS3 when X-360 is already available.

So on the way home from work I purschased said Microsoft console.

It came with a free game Rumble Roses, not half bad better than the PS2 version at any rate, but I am wondering what game to buy as my first (non free) game.

I don't play sports games or car games so they are out. I already have Tomb Raider legends for PS2 so there is little point in getting that.

That leaves...

...Well that's what this thread is for what are you playing / Enjoying.

Oh just one last thing is The new Elder Scrolls worth getting, is it as good as the PC ES games?

Ghost Recon: Advance Warfighter.... Great game, Single player is fun and also there is some fun in multiplayer mode.

Football manager If you liked the PC verson then this is an ok conversion

PLEASE tell me you got the version with the hard disk in it.

If you like RPGs, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion is a good game, but kinda known as Grand Theft Horse as you end up stealing horses quite often...

Fight Night is friggin awesome.

World Cup 06 is pretty decent while you are waiting for Pro Evo 360.

Tomb Raider is good but VERY short.

Kameo is a nice little game and pretty difficult.

Elder Scrolls wasn't my thing, but it looks beautiful.

PGR3 and Oblivion are great, so is Madden 06 but it doesn't have the superstar mode or the Madden Cards of the PS2 version. Also Blazing angels is a good WW2arcade shooter. Also get yourself a wireless router and the wireless add-on for the XB360 though the adaptor is about £50-60

I dont think EA have really made the most of the 360s potential with most of their initial releases to be honest. When the inevitable sequels come along, i suspect we'll see a pretty big jump in content and quality. But really, they should have just put a little more effort in.

Why has noone mentioned PGR3' date=' the best looking game in existence? Its just brilliant, frankly.[/quote']

PGR3 and Oblivion are great' date=' so is [b']Madden 06[/b] but it doesn't have the superstar mode or the Madden Cards of the PS2 version.

I think the reason people haven't mentioned them is THIS:

I don't play sports games or car games so they are out.

No, I mean it as it's written. The online lag is dreadful. No matter who you play, where they're from and whatever their connection is, you can't escape it. The onscreen visuals are at least 3 seconds behind the joypad. So you take a shot and you have to wait for it to register, by which time all power/direction has been lost and more often than not, you end up in the rough, through no fault of your own.

Saying this, I haven't played it for a while, so maybe EA have patched their online server.
