Chris2K
The final rating for last Thursday's TNA Impact was a 1.16, which rounded up is officially a 1.2 on the books, TNA's highest rating to date on Spike TV. The show scored a 1.3 among Males 18-49 and a 1.5 among Males 18-34 (a new record for that demographic), while capturing an average audience of 1.2 million viewers. WrestlingObserver.com That completely destroys AM RAW, and obviously shows that TNA are far superior to the WWE, who LOST viewers last week. Guest Dave7g
That doesnt prove TNA is the superior at all, it's the better matches and wrestlers that prove it. :)
Guest Danny Styles
woo go TNA well even if it's rounded up a 1.2 or 1.16 is a great result for TNA and shows tehy are going forward
Guest the HiTman
Stats suck. Go by the product. Do you care about what brand of bakewell tart your next door neighbour bought last week? Mr. Kipling or Tesco Value??? Stats SUCK!
Guest WCW4LIFE
that pleases me a lot.... TNA should push wwe all the way but i dont want them to ever go broke like WCW did but wwe is bad now attitude is not coming back and thats what i loved about wwf it was awesome but now it doesn't cae it will get caught napping by TNA and RoH will become the 3rd power if you dont count ECW

Guest AustinAries
Which at present they don't have! They may not have the star power, but they do have greater matches each week, where as raw is kinda hot and miss between weeks. TNA's doing better now, and beating AM Raw is a good step, but they definitely need a second hour before they can get in audiences that can beat something like Smackdown

Guest CoTT
The title of this thread is blatantly false. A 1.2 rating, good as it is for TNA, is still small potatoes compared to WWE.
Guest Rog
The title says a rating sucess, 1.2 is thier highest hence a ratings sucess. WWE have more viewers, but the ratio of increase is higher for TNA.
Guest MrFill
i wouldn't really have thought a 1.2 rating is anything to brag about Tell you what, you start up a new wrestling promotion, get a TV deal within a couple of years, and then draw a 1.2 rating - all within about 4-5 years of start-up, and then you can complain. OK?
Guest Lagwagon
Lets all remember this though... TNA Impact is TNA's number one show. That's the best they got. AM RAW is a recap show. I don't see much greatness in TNA when they beat a recap show in the ratings. Hey I want TNA to succeed, Competition is good for the business but this doesn't seem like that great of news. Guest MrFill
How long have TNA had a TV show? It can be counted in MONTHS. You expect a recent start to suddenly draw a 4.0? Get real!

The Icon
TNA have a long way to go if that rating is the best they can do. It is however a start and I hope it improves on a monthly basis.
Guest Kanenite
Good luck to TNA in the future, it's good news to see that they are improving their show all the time. They did beat a WWE show but a recapped one which to me isn't anything special, if they ever beat RAW I very doubt it but if they did then they deserve a massive pat on the back. Guest Nemesis Enforcer
Smackdown has been doing about 2.6 - 2.8 for the last few weeks and that is part of the WWE so for a small company who are fairly new to do 1.2 is encouraging, esspecially as they have been around the 1.0 mark for a few weeks too, WWE/F didn't go right into big numbers they had to work up too Edited May 30, 2006 by Nemesis Enforcer

Guest The Dirty Razor
TNA...who are they? Now seriously...I wanted TNA to make it...but talk about a disappointment... No matter what their ratings are....that show started going downhill after they signed Sting...and now they've got Steiner and Nash, a bloated Raven...come on now. All the real talent on that show can't save them from their management's poor decisions and overall production...they're a giant turd heading down a sewer pipe. You have to think long term when creating a roster and shows...and they didn't.
