Guest Slim Jim
Ok, I know that other WM23 thread just got closed, but this might be useful for those of you who are thinking of going to Detroit 20 years after Hogan slammed that fat guy. The WrestleMania travel packages are now on sale and thanks to the magic of the internet I worked out they vary from about £310 per person (if you get the 4 person silver package) to about £730 (If you get the 4 person Platinum package). Drop a blank email to this address for info and forms and stuff. wrestlemania.packages@wwecorp.com ***Hopefully*** I might be able to save up the old pennies and enjoy a weekend in motown. Guest Dave7g
What are the differences in Silver and Platinum packages? I'm definetly going next year, I've put it off for too long.
Guest Slim Jim
Distance from the front. Silver I think is tiered, Gold is behind Platinum on the floor. Platinum lets you keep the chair.
Guest Dave7g
Platinum it is! Although I don't really think I'll be allowed into many bars afterwards wielding a steel chair!
Guest MrFill
The chairs are padded, with a huge great WM logo on them. Here's an example of a WM-19 chair on sale on eBay. http://i15.ebayimg.com/01/i/07/0d/d5/80_1_sbl.JPG
Guest Dave7g
Well, it's $1,700 for a ticket and Hotel, I also need to GET THERE, which will cost about another grand. It's alarmingly expensive to be honest.
Guest Slim Jim
But think of the steel chair!
Guest The Great Ahmar
It has been a life long dream to go to Mania. But I doubt that I will go in the next year years though. I really want a chair like that though.
Guest MrFill
You can buy the chairs off eBay. Oh, and if you're sneaky, you can get down near the front after the event and swipe the ones that people leave. ;)
Guest The Great Ahmar
Yeah Fill, I'll will try and do that one its a good idea. But I doubt after spending over a grand on that Seat that they will mind me nicking it. But I do it Sneaky like you said, I Wonder...
Guest MrFill
When I was at WM, there were lots of people who left their seats behind. Just think, most of the front row is given free to celebs or family, so they didn't pay, so they generally "don't want" the seat. On top of that you get idiots who just forget. :)
Guest The Great Ahmar
Very true Fill. I'll just ask my Mum if I can go Mania this year, Hold On. She wants to know how much at tickets for
Guest MrFill
I'm not sure on the ordinary tickets are - we should be getting 5 or 6 for a group of us. I think they announce the exact price in September.

Guest FreeSpirit
http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i102/salleynev1/WWESouvenirChairs.jpg Here are my three souvenir chairs from Summerslam 2004, Survivor Series 2004 and Royal Rumble 2006. All I'm missing now is a Wrestlemania one. Oh and if anyone thinks they can take a Souvenir Chair away from the arena without having the top price ticket, think again. The stewards check your ticket thoroughly on the arena floor on the way out, and there's only one exit you can take the chairs away from. EDIT: Link to huge-ass pictures please. :) Edited June 15, 2006 by MrFill
Guest Christof
We'll a few of us are looking at a trip. It's not so much of a wallet buster as I expected. We're looking at about £330 for flights, £90 each for 6 nights in a hotel then car hire works out at about £40 each between 6 of us. By Fill's estimations Mania tickets should be $100 for half decent seats, then $50 each for RAW and SD! So very tempting!

Guest Christof
Tempting as well i must add. Plus Fill tells me that Axxess is about $50. So far the mrs hasn't said its a no go for me. Instead she's using the tact - "well you could save that money"
Guest Dave7g
It's the insane price thats putting me off, I'm not sure breakfast with Eugene and The Coach is worth $125.
Guest Christof
You don't have to go to it though. If I do go then its unlikely I'll do those extras or get a package deal. I'll just get a regular ticket, a chair on a floor where you can't see for signs and other people doesn't bother me. Having a decent view and an amazing experience does. Guest FreeSpirit
Fan Axxess for WrestleMania is totally FREE Christof. I went to the WrestleMania nationwide Fan Axess tour they had in Miami before the Royal Rumble, and in Chicago before WrestleMania 22. If you want autographs from the WWE Superstars in attendance though, it's wise to get there as early as possible to avoid a long ass queue. Guest DarkMatchJobber
Wrestlemania tickets sell out within ten minutes of going on sale usually but how many end up on Ebay or Competitions ? Edited June 15, 2006 by DarkMatchJobber
Guest MrFill
Fan Axxess for WrestleMania is totally FREE Christof. Wasn't previously - they must have changed that as fans realised it was a rip-off most of the time.
