Ryan
By: William Russell 06/23/06 Internally, many WWE officials are very excited about the buzz and fan reaction the 'new' DX has generated. Initially the plans were to have the duo of HBK and HHH a short-term deal. However, conflicting reports are now saying that the WWE will push the storylines further as possible. In what could be possibly a major development and shake-up on WWE television, the WWE is now pitching an idea to revive the NWO which would be lead by Hulk Hogan. In addition, there are talks of possibly bringing back Scott Hall in a non-wrestling role. The early plan would be to have the NWO return around Survivor Series. However, for the time being the WWE will take a "wait and see" approach until making further storyline advancements. DX Vs. nWo is one of my dream fueds! during the monday night wars, WCW & WWE had their big time stables, WCW with the nWo & WWE with DX, now we might see them collide! WWE have to try and persuade Nash to come back to the WWE, you cant have the nWo without Nash.
Guest rawiswar
Interesting, but will it turn into the same thing as what happened in 2002? That's the question. Thinking of bringing back factions though, I was thinking what it would be like if they brought back Nation of Domination possibly bringing back D-Lo and some others, a feud with DX etc. Unlikely but who knows. Heh, could you imagine a new Nation? Consisting of Shelton Benjamin, Lashley, and a few others, would never happen of course, but the thought did arise in my head. I guess that's just the past, and the past should be layed to rest as I don't think there are many demands for the return of The Nation. Ryan
but will it turn into the same thing as what happened in 2002? But in was just the nWo in 2002, no one to fued with, now we have DX.
Guest Clarkey
I'd like the idea if it was just for a one off spectacle Survivor Series match. Could have DX vs A.N.Other Stable (nWo/Evolution...whatever), and then have your ECW vs WWE match. Something novel to add to the PPV, I wouldn't anything more and certainly not anything prolonged though.
Guest SuperKick Kid
DX vs nWo is a dream faction match. It would be nice to see 3 vs 3: Triple H, HBK, & Chyna vs Hogan, Hall, & Nash.
Ryan
It would be nice to see 3 vs 3: Triple H, HBK, & X-Pac vs Hogan, Hall, & Nash. X-Pac > Chyna :)
Guest Sparrow
It would be nice to see 3 vs 3: Triple H, HBK, & Chyna vs Hogan, Hall, & Nash. Maybe having chyna and hall as managers.
Guest Adam Gill
Another nostalgia trip. :roll Why don't WWE look forwards instead of backwards? Maybe having chyna and hall as managers. With HHH and Stephanie McMahon running things i doubt there's much chance of Joanie 'Chyna' Laurer being re-signed, Sparrow. :lol

Is Hall even fit to wrestle and what about Kev? He's contracted to TNA isn't he? So that leaves Hogan, unless they're gonna pull Bagwell and Ed Leslie (aka Disciple/Brutus Beefcake/Booty Man or whatever you want to call him) from wherever they are now. Nice idea but I think I'd prefer it to stay one of those dream encounters along with Austin vs Goldberg and Austin vs Hogan.
Guest Dave7g
Rename the thread Mr.p. DX vs Evolution = Nah, DX vs nWo = Nah, DX vs ECW = ooh, yes please!
Guest rawiswar
DX would go over of course. You don't think McMahon will allow an originally created WCW faction which threatend WWF's life (Yes NWO was the reason for WCW's 2 year reign as top of the wrestling world) go over WWF's faction do you? So all pretty predictable really. Then again, who really knows, but that's the initial impression I get, I hope it is unpredictable though. Ryan
Rename the thread Mr.p. DX vs Evolution = Nah' date=' DX vs nWo = Nah, DX vs ECW = ooh, yes please![/quote'] I would rather just have ECW & WWE as 2 seperate brands that dont acknoledge each other. Guest The Beltster
Wont work, Hogan as a heel in the nWo will go over like a fart in church, it will not work. Hogan is WAYYY too over in the red and yellow now, with the Real American music and gimmick, to go back to the black and white nWo which the WWF fans didnt buy him in 4 years ago. Nash is also contracted to TNA, Scott Hall should never be used again as he isnt dependable, X-Crap will likely come back, Chyna never will, the New Age Outlaws are contracted to TNA and after what they said about HHH, they will likely never return either. A face nWo vs face DX might work, but eh, I cant see Hogan in anything other than the red and yellow anymore, and he certainly isnt coming in full time not is he going to come in to get jobbed out to DX. Guest DanielFullard
I dont think Hogan could work as a heel in this day and age. Think about it. HBK was the most loved guy on RAW and the ease with which he was able to become the number-one heel due simply to turning on Hogan shows the face-power Hogan still has. Plus with Nash in TNA and Hall virtually unable to work anymore what sort of end product would we get? If they would have had a DX v NWO fued at thier peaks it would have been one of the biggest money makers in history but of course that was not possible. Hogan is still a huge draw, as proved at Summerslam last year, but Nash is in TNA, Hall cannot work anymore, Outlaws will never grace WWE again, Steph hates Chyna so we are left with nothing to go with

Guest DarkMatchJobber
At the expense of being creative and daring with their booking WWE revived Degeneration X. Shawn Michaels and Triple H may be two of the most talented workers in the industry and I do not understand why they were paired up again when it is clear WWE need main event talent-smackdown in particular. The best bet would be for Vince McMahon to say that he can't fire HHH or HBK because they make too much money for him but he can split them up permenantly, then he drafts HBK to the smackdown roster and promises that if the showstopper ever shows his face on RAW again he will be fired and this way smackdown gains a much needed main event talent and Triple H can resume his king of kings gimmick. Guest Sav
Swing and a big fat miss for Dr Know. DX vs nWo in 2006 is one of the worst ideas I've ever heard for SO many reasons. nWo completely bombed in the WWF, Scott Hall is nothing now, Nash is busy being hilarious in TNA and Hogan would have to be back on a weekly basis which would be a disaster. Just a horrible horrible idea, so I'm happy there's no chance that this is true.
Guest MrKnow
Swing and a big fat miss for Dr Know. What I was actually told was....that the DX entrance at a PPV (I know its not Survivor Series...so I guessed Summerslam) would be to a live set..... Knowing that it was RATM recorded the entrance music I wrongly presumed it would be them..... Just wait and see before shooting me down completly

You're not another one of those who thinks HHH's imaginary "brother" performed with the band who recorded the DX theme?
