I've been reading up a bit on the new FIFA to come out, mainly in PS2 mags, but I'm lost.

What is the big revolution of gameplay people seem to be talking about?

Could some one help me out with a dumb dumb's summary?

Cheers

According to IGN, the following features will be in the game:

More interactive crowd reactions that reacts to every move during a game. Crowds also sound like the region the player is playing in such as crowds in France sounding French.

Interactive leagues between online players representing real life matches.

Improved skill moves that takes into account the skill of the player before being able to pull the moves off.

Improved passing, crossing and free kick techniques.

Improved shooting techniques that measures up a player's space, composure and technique to decide what will happen to the shot. A new "finesse" shot has been included that requires a lot more space and composure but has more power and can curl.

Manager Mode can be trasferred between the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable.

510 teams with about 4,000 licensed players, teams and leagues.

New ball physics such as top spin and back spin.

Ability to create a club.

Hope this helps

Sounding good at the minute, looking forward to the crowd at Old Firm games :D
Ability to create a club. I'm Sold!
Finally, they've sorted out the sticky balls. Er.....in Fifa that is.

Ability to create a club? I'm guessin that's in the multiplayer mode sort of thing, for friendlies with mates.

I can already feel every united fan trying to find a way to bring keano back...

BUt it does help, cheers. I take it with this finesse shot that some players will be better than others? Such as Risse, or Rooney?

Ability to create a club. I'm Sold!

that'll be ace!

Ability to create a club. I'm Sold!

Can't you already do that on LMA Manager 2006 though?

Pro > Fifa

That is all :D

Pro > Fifa

That is all :D

FIFA is better solidly because of its pick up and play-ability.

I've played every edition of both since 98 and consistently FIFA is the better game.

In evo you have blocky graphics, fifa is smoooooooth as beyonces bum.

in evo the gameplay is overcomplicated, difficult to master, and tries too hard, in fifa, easy to learn, easy to play,w ith just the right amount of tweaks and skills.

in evo, it can take you years to make your master league team the way you like, in FIFA in the manager mode its easier to make your perfect team, and once you've done that you simply move on to another team.

I'll never see evo as the better game :(

The major selling point is the interactive league...every week I think they will post fixtures and you can play through the fixture and then submit your score so say the fixture is Everton v Villa you can play that match as Everton and win 5-0 and submit it.

Then after the week the team that recieved the most wins per fixture will recieve the 3 points for the win and the interactive league will be updated with the results from all the fixtures of that week.

You can submit a result for a fixture as many times as you want.

That's all IN YOUR OPINION.

Ive not liked a FIFA since 98. Such routine ways of scoring, once you know them, it becomes a pointless game. Ridiculously unrealistic.

Plus FIFA's management is also, I mean you can be Bolton and top of the league, beat Man Utd 3-1 but then get sacked cause your underperforming.

And how is the Evo gameplay hard? Buttons do the same with FIFA except its actually more like football and not FIFA's cross between basketball, football and rugby.

Monkeys can win at FIFA, its just a poor game to me.

Try playing it on the world class setting. Then it becomes a true game.

And all that stuff that old firm says is IMO.... look at the two... play the two that were most recently realeased.... its fact...
