***Official RAW Discussion Thread-Sep. 25, 2006 from Oklahoma City, OK***

There are three burning questions in the minds of the RAW fans as RAW heads to Oklahoma City this week.

Β

Who will Coachman choose?

In Oklahoma City, D-Generation X will face three teams of Executive Assistant Jonathan Coachman's choice in a Gauntlet Match. DX must face all three teams in a row, and with all the Superstars at the Executive Assistant's disposal, who will Coachman choose to battle Triple H and Shawn Michaels?

Β

Who will succeed Trish?

Trish Stratus won the Women’s Championship at Unforgiven, but her retirement forced the championship to be vacated. Every Diva wants to become champion; eight of them will have their chance, as RAW will see the beginning of an 8-Diva tournament to determine a new Women's Champion. Who will be the one to succeed Trish?

Β

Can Nitro withstand the Big Red Monster?

Also in Oklahoma City, Johnny Nitro will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Kane. Weeks ago, Kane's first chance at Nitro's gold was interrupted by Umaga, who came to the ring to attack the Big Red Monster. An opportunistic Nitro was able to retain his gold in a Six-Pack Challenge last week; can he do it two weeks in a row, or will Oklahoma City see a Big Red Champion crowned?

Β

To find out the answers to these questions and more, tune into RAW Monday night at 9/8 CT on the USA Network.

I think it's safe to say that one of the tag teams DX will face will be Cade & Murdoch. Haas & Vis may be the other.

Β

It's also safe to say that Umaga will interfere in the IC Title match.

Β

The way I see it, I think it'll be Lita, Mickie James, Candice, Torrie Wilson, Maria, Victoria almost for sure. I think we'll see Beth Phoenix return to compete in the tournament and maybe Melina???

Looks like a good Raw on paper. I'm very interested to see where they take the Cena-Edge deal. Any other feud that lasts this long i'd easily be bored of by now; but this one has been exceptional

Β

I think it's a bit early to start talking about Cyber Sunday, but we might see things start to take shape.

1. RAW's in Oklahoma.....JR will get beaten up.

Β

2. there will be some returns to the WWE in the Womans Tourney i.e Molly, Jacqueline & Ivory. IMO.

RAW's in Oklahoma, never a good sign for JR.

The man must dread going to his home town.

I don't see any of The Divas Perfect mentioned showing up. I wouldn't be shocked if Jazz did though.
I Think it's pretty obvious that Lita / Mickie James will be the final of the tournament and it's gonna be mostly horrible as they will need to put the likes of Maria and Candice in to make up the numbers

A gauntlet match means that three tag teams will be buried one after the other in short order by Degeneration X :evil

Β

Nobody gives a damn about the women's title and tournaments always suck when it's obvious who'll be in the final, it makes the other matches less enjoyable.

Β

Kane losing out on the intercontinental title via Umaga assault is so obvious it hurts.

Β

JR loves getting the crap kicked out of him amongst his fellow hillbillies because it means he gets maximum exposure.

Β

I do, and i know alot of other people do aswell, just because you dont like something doesnt mean no one else can.

Lita

Mickie

Torrie

Candice

Victoria

Maria

Beth

Melina

Β

The honest among us would agree that the womens division in WWE is pure and utter garbage.

I'd forgot all about Victoria, and Melina can wrestle a bit too, not sure Beth Phoenix is even healthy yet though? It might not be too bad after all.

They'll probably set the finals up to be Mickey vs Lita.

Β

Either that or some point during the tournament it will be Mickey vs Lita

cryme time, spirit squad possibly to be in gauntlet

Β

they can't set up another umaga run in for the IC Title match after only doin it a few weeks ago, but they probably will! why can i see the IC belt being glued to Nitro for a long time?

I cant see Cryme Tyme being hyped up, then coming in so DX can bury them because it is obvious DX will win this Guantlet.

Β

Because in the kayfabe world the Coach could NEVER get the drop on DX.

How many weeks before WWE do another stereotype parody by having Cryme Tyme gangbanging with Candice,Maria and Torrie :P

I'm thinking that either Cade & Murdoch will get a win in the gauntlet. It'll keep DX strong, as they would have been defeated by three teams overall, and it would give C&M a decent rub. That, or swap C&M for Cryme Tyme, which I think would work too.

Β

Oh, and I give a damn about the women's title too. And it might not be obvious who will be in the final. Who's to say that Lita, and/or Mickie, won't interfere in the other's matches, costing them a shot?

Because WWE can't do an unpredictable tournament, the final match simply has to conveniently be between two guys/girls who have got in each other's faces recently and had more air time than the other participants.

WWE can't do unpredictable tournaments? You better not watch Survivor Series '98 then.

Β

Β

And before any smart-arse mentions that it was WWF then, I think we all agree that it is all the same thing.

Come on DC - you mention something 8 years ago as proof that WWE can do an unpredictable tournament? There have been loads of tourneys since then, and yet you go all the way back to 98? Kind of says something about the booking, doesn't it?
King of the Ring 2006. I even picked Mark Henry over Booker T.

Nah, the minute his King gimmick started I knew he'd win it.

Β

And it should be Mickie v Lita in the final. Unless they do the grudge match in the first round, they've done that before. Its just that whomever wins out of those two will win the belt. So no, the final definitely.

Β

The big surprise on Raw this week will be them convincing us that there are actually 3 tag teams on Raw.
