I can't wait for the release of Pro Evolution Soccer 6, apparently it is due out on October 27th for the PS2 anyway.

So has anybody heard about the new features?

If so, what are they?

I've heard nothing, to tell the truth.

When you slide tackle you can actually keep the ball this time.

The game moves alot more freely i.e offside not been used as much.

A good few licenced strips.

Hope this helps.

PES never really change things, I fthey actually did change some things it would really be the best Football game. Some things like:

Make the Master league more enjoyable! It is like your just playing match after Match and it gets boring after a while! Like what Fifa do with Manager Mode, Lets you talk to the press and your board!

The Master league more is also changed in PES6 to be more user friendly.
I can't wait for this, PES 5 is still in PS2 all the time.
For me aswell Dave but PSE6 looks so good.
Pressing L2 + R2 makes you get a free kick if you don't press it you get play on

The game is out now on the 360

not sure about other consoles, i saw everyone on my friends list playing it

I'm popping into town to get it soon not on XBOX 360 though, as I hear it's utter bollocks on that.

I got it (and Fifa) today from Gameplay.com - you were right, ahsatan; one day early!

Pro Evo is great, but it feels like they just tweaked PES5 - not a bad thing - why improve on perfection.

Fifa is a VAST improvement on previous installments, but 6 leagues?! EA, come on!

How up to date are the teams in Pro Evo, Ravenmark?

I always get annoyed when a player Liverpool don't have anymore is still in the team, and another one is still at his old club etc.

I thought the idea of buying Pro Evo was that you didn't care about up to date teams, real names etc?

I just want to know how far behind they are.
I got it today, only played one game though and it's pretty good so far, bit odd that I was on the easiest setting and was struggling to get on target for most of the match, then got 4 goals on the trot in the last few minutes of the game.
Its like 5, but 1 better!

I think they are abit behind Ray.

Apparently Game released PES 6 too early which lead to other stores releasing the game before the due date, which was today.

I brought the game yesterday and I think it's great.

More emphasis is put on passing than on PES 5 which personally I prefer, I've only played 1 games against the computer though so I can't really comment on what the CPU is like, I spent most of last night kicking my mate's ass on it. :D

A cool little feature I like is the "area" teams, when you can choose to have a match using players from say just the La Liga teams or players from Europe. It should help keep the game "fresh" a little bit which will be good after a few months of playing it and becoming a bit bored with the standard teams to play with.

I'm loving the game, £30 well spent. :)

I'm lovin' the International Challenge, a fine addition!

The game is really good. i love they way players try to support you when you have the ball.

The 360 version is like half of the current gen games. you cant edit player clothing and numbers, team names and there are only like 8 stadiums. Theres also no tutorial training to learn new moves

i also cant get anyone to play against online as well

Is it actually any different to Pro Evo 5?

I've seen the advert on TV, and well its looks exactly the same. What is the actual difference bar players moving clubs, new kits, new licenses on player names etc?

Just brought this from local Tesco, I'll give you my thoughts on it in a few hours :xyx
