Nice play on words huh? :p

Having just got broadband back I decided to go back to downloading, when on one of my favourite download sites I see that "wii" is one of the most popular searches. So I also carried out a wii search, the result being lots of Wii titles that look as if thy fit perfectly onto a DVD.

My question is, if I were to accidentally download one of these and then burnt to DVD, would it work on my Wii?

to add to this, can i connect my Wii to my Sky Broadband via ethernet etc... or does it have to be wireless?

You can but you have to buy a LAN adapter for your Wii, they cost about 15 quid at the moment and I think still only do unofficial ones.

Can't say for sure, but i'd guess no, as the Wii plays optical disks and gamecube disks, not dvd's

Nope......that is, unless you chip your Wii. Once you've had it chipped, you'd be able to download games at will. Yes, they fit perfectly onto a DVD.

I imagine you're quite handy with little wire's and soldering......so it could very well be suggested you visit http://www.modchip-store.co.uk/

Has anyone here modded a Wii? How easy was it? etc...
I've had mine done, but a mate did it. He's pretty handy at that sort of thing. I can't imagine it's that differcult. I'm more than sure he learnt how to do it via guides which he found online. The chip may even come with instructions. I know there's a small bit of soldering, involved.
