WWE today officially suspended 10 of its performers based on information received from investigators in the Albany, NY district attorneys office.

None of the names have been released but it will likely be obvious over the next week who at least some of them are.

The suspensions would likely be based on proof that performers were using Signature Pharmacy or another Internet prescription type firm after the implemenation of the Wellness policy.

The company also has informed all performers that beginning 11/1, the company will publicly release the names of anyone who is suspended under drug policy violations. [/Quote]

i doubt there will be any BIG names in there but it would be interesting to find out who they are

I'd have thought there'd be a couple of BIG names in there. Why else say that they'll release names of people start 11/1, they'd do it now if it was a bunch of nobodies. Plus 10 people is alot, they can't all be jobbers

Smackdown Spoiler:

Batista could be one especially as he was set for a Match with Khali!

That would make me very happy!

It would be funny if one was Jeff Hardy seeing as he's only returned from a suspension.
My picks : Cena, Batista, Lashley, HHH, Khali, Mysterio, Kennedy, Snitsky, Nitro and um... Masters!

How did i guess Cena was in the top of your picks :roll

However if the Smackdown Spoilers are true indeed then it wouldn't be a surprise to be honest

Well it will be increasingly apparent who the performers are when they are notably absent this week from TV.

Unless the 10 happen to be Taker, Edge, Lashley etc.

Good stance for WWE to have though. However I still reckon they were suspended just because of the scandal and not actually due to being on roids, which in essence, is some twisted logic.

Does anyone think the poll put on WWE.com about Cena forfeiting the title was put their on purpose because they are planning on doing it as he might be one of the superstars to have been suspended and he will have to drop the title?

Long shot I know,but still it's possible.

Hmm interesting to see the shows in the next few weeks and work out who it is, although I expect the names to get leaked in the next few days

Interesting times ahead

Why wouldn't he be? He's as obvious a drug user as most people on the roster.

If this was a worst wrestler thing, then maybe you could roll your eyes, but it's obvious that Cena is on something, so I don't see why you can ct like that over something so obvious.

But saying that, the WWE won't act on their biggest stars, unless they want to make a huge statement. I'm not expecting Cena's name to come out.

Pretty interesting, i'll look forward to next weeks WWE programming to find out who they are. I doubt and am hoping that no big names are involved.

I imagine it'll be a bunch of midcarders, possibly Batista and possibly Lashley. HHH will never be suspended, and I can't see Cena ever being caught doing anything illegal.

Batista getting suspended would be great though. Not for SmackDown, but certainly in general.

Just out of interest why are you hoping no big names are involved?
WWE are low on main eventers as it is...

Typical reasons, for example if it was Cena, the whole Orton/Cena feud would be screwed which i've enjoyed so far. A few though i'd easily live without, Great Khali for example. Plus like Mitch said they're low on Main Event Talent, anymore taken away would be a big blow. I should've been more specific.

I'm not so sure getting rid of a main eventer or two would be such a bad thing, it would shake things up and force WWE to actually make a new star or two rarther then just settle with what they have feuding over and over which soon gets stale
But they can't create a star in 2 months, otherwise fans backlash.

Actually Jack i was rolling my eyes because Dave got an unhealthy hate for Cena

Not if its done well, shoving an untalented guy like Lashley down the fans throats won't work and didn't work very well, but you don't have to shove someone down the fans throats to make a star, its about balance don't overexpose someone while you're elavating them and the fans will accept them

Umaga when feuding with Cena wasn't shoved down our throats and the fans took to him as a main eventer when before he was just midcard, same with Edge when he went from mid carder to main eventer

It can be done its just the trick is getting the right amount of exposure without going overboard for your maineventer
