Ok, so some people hate John Cena, most people hate Shawn Michaels, sane people hate TNA but those are all big, sweeping topics, I'm looking for the little niggly things about wrestling that annoy you ever so slightly.

For instance (and there are a lot more that I have once the ball starts rolling and I put some thought into it), I hate the indy standoff of moronic tomfoolery. That stupid ass thing that RVD and Jerry Lynn made famous where a couple of two bit indy wrestlers do some Headlock-Hammerlock reversal sequence or whatever and then do a standoff followed by the idiotic sheep in the audience applauding like they just invented the wheel.

I also hate that spot where one guy is laying on the mat close to the turnbuckle and the other guy is on the turnbuckle and jumps off with a 'Ok, I'm going to get you this time, sucka. Oh dear I appeared to have jumped straight into your raised boot' type thing. What the hell was the jumper going for anyway? It never ever looks good.

So...proceed.

Michaels dominating a bigger man with his stupid punches.

Oh yeah, belts are belts, it isn't the WWE Title Shoulder Strap. Only time it was acceptable not being used as a belt was when Austin was dragging it along the ground and throwing it in the ring because it fitted in with the character and pissed the boss off or when Yokozuna had it because, well, you know.

Johnny Nitro Morrison's stupid slow motion hair entrance
When a wrestler moves around on the ground, positioning himself to be splashed. Best example: Honky Tonk Man against the Ultimate Warrior at SummerSlam 1988.
Recognized tag teams getting split up when they are doing well to be used as singles wrestlers and that tag spot then being given to 2 singles wrestlers slung together annoys me too
When 2 wrestlers are outside the ring and the count has reached 9....at this point wrestler A rolls back in and wins via count-out. Other times, you have the same scenario, but wrestler A pokes his head under the bottom rope - this in turn causes the ref to forget what he got to, and start the count again. Make up your damn minds!
I've always thought the 10 counts on the outside just restarted whenever someone left the ring, which would explain it continuing when someone got in and the other guy counted out, or why it was restarted when someone rolled back in and then out again.
The ten-count is restarted if a wrestler rolls into the ring and then goes back to the floor. If the wrestler rolls into the ring and stays there, the count is not restarted.

I hate any spot where the receiver has to obviously put himself in position for the move.

My main hates though, are with the serious breaks in logic. Invisible cameras and people not watching the show to see what really happened.

I have no problem with a camera being backstage/in the locker-room/in the parking lot/wherever, but I hate it when it is ignored. The time Mickie James came on to Trish's date, then accused him of attacking her instead was moronic for a few reasons.

1) The cameraman saw it all, so he could have stepped in or told management the truth.

2) Ignoring #1, Trish could have watched the footage and saw for herself what happened.

It's the same when Wrestler A smashes Wrestler B from behind, but Wrestler C gets the blame, causing a feud to start. All it would take is for someone to watch the footage later and they could see what happened.

Ted DiBiase always used to adjust his trunks after pretty much every move. He'd slide his fingers around the entire waistband.

Joe does it too.

Joe's waistband is somewhere near his armpit too.

Relax man, I never intended to hurt your feelings with my HBK comment. :lol

This is one thing TNA do right. There is always JB or someone holding a microphone.

As a kid I used to hate when the heels would throw powder, and the ref would ignore the big cloud in the ring.

Agreed, I HATE wrestlers not wearing their belts, and I especially hated the way RVD carried it, with the snaps fastened.

Even the Big Show wore it around his waist, so make the effort people, there is no excuse unless its gimmick-driven to drag it around ala Austin.

Or that the victim looks like he indulged in too much cocaine.

I've seen that done where it looks good... all you have to do is not try and hit an axe-handle smash, and go for a splash before you take the boot to your face. You may have seen it, but probably lost interest at their "indy-standoff." :P

I don't like hot tag spots.

I hate Vince blowing up a perfectly good fake leg in a Limo.

That could have gone to a soldier who had his leg blown off, and he could of had a really expensive shoe to go with it.

I also hate botches, one that has always annoyed me more than most is Rico and Jeff Hardy, think it was at Summerslam. Where he said 'Damn it Jeff!' in front of the crowd and then Jeff wobbled the wrong rope. Pointless

I hate the wrestling section on yahoo answers.

That counts doesn't it seeing as it is derived from wrestling.

Video EVIDENCE~!

There are three things that really bother me.

1. Commerical breaks during the main event match, major pain in the ass

2. Interference during a really good match (even when you know its coming)

3. Snitsky (although he's a big thing, but he still bothers me anyway)

I watched my first full ROH PPV,Respect is Earned and one thing that annoyed me was the guys doing the same moves over and over and over!! And Nigel doing that spot where he bounces between the middle and top rope like 4 times in one match.

Khali covering up for every punch he takes aswel.
