July 1, 200816 yr HHH vs edge would be good Got to agree with this (I know shock horror). But I'm hoping that a top of his game Edge will be able to reignite Triple H.He has been stale for a long time and a Triple H v La Famillia angle could be great and the matches should be great. With all the heat Edge and Vicky get the crowd could be white hot for it as well.
July 1, 200816 yr Now we know why Edge isn't in that poster! We also know why Punk is :lol I am very suprised that WWE has not gone with the Stars and Stripes on the poster being all patriotic as they are but rarther have gone for a generic car crash which has nothing to do with the actual PPV other then it has BASH in the title of it
July 1, 200816 yr I would hazard a guess at Batista vs Punk for the Title. Wait till Summerslam for the Cena match.
July 3, 200816 yr I would hazard a guess at Batista vs Punk for the Title. Wait till Summerslam for the Cena match. I'd rather they left Cena Vs Batista till mania.
July 7, 200816 yr It is expected for there to be a three-way match for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Great American Bash PPV between CM Punk, John Cena and JBL. prowrestling.com. if the E are serious about punk they will need to use this match to give him some creditability and i think he would need to pin Cena cleanly (as no one really cares enough about JBL for it to work)
July 7, 200816 yr Cena gets pinned cleanly too much now. Since Punk did the Edge-thing, "the ever opportunist", have Cena take out JBL, Punk take out Cena momentarily, but with time enough for him to pin JBL.

July 7, 200816 yr HHH v Edge should be a good match and hopfully a really good feud. HHH has wanted to do something with Edge for a while so im looking forward to that one. Oh, and the poster sucks.

July 7, 200816 yr Author I decided to add a "Rumored Matches" section in the title post. If anyone hears anything about any possible or rumored matches, please post them here or PM me with them.

July 7, 200816 yr but JBL isn't over so beating someone who isn't over would do what? for punk gets him no where I think its wrong to say JBL isn't over.Sure he doesn't get mega heel heat. But he is a respected heel with a good main event history so it will do the job fine before moving on to someone else. And for Punk it has to be a slow build thing.Just making Cena job to him isn't going to make him be percieved as genuine main eventer. It will just be percieved as giving him a push or God forbid pushing him down are throats.Punk is different to the main eventers they have got push him in that way, treat him as unique, give him the slow burner treatment and see what you have got on your hands.Just don't do the predictable biggest thing in the company has lost to him so therefore he must be good, its Lashley build.Show some variety.
July 7, 200816 yr slow burner treatment if that was the case why give him the title on the a show they have no time for that they should have gave him the smackdown belt imho
July 7, 200816 yr if that was the case why give him the title on the a show they have no time for that they should have gave him the smackdown belt imho I cant understand what you are trying to say.Are you saying they should have made him the World champion on Smackdown rather then Raw?
July 8, 200816 yr I cant understand what you are trying to say.Are you saying they should have made him the World champion on Smackdown rather then Raw? yes, they should have gave if the WC of the B show rather than the A show if they were going for the slow burner treatment. as he is on the A show he needs to do more. but he could also lose the match without being beaten at all which could lead to Punk Vs Cena at Summer Slam but in the end the main event for GAB is actually World Championship Match CM Punk © vs. Batista I hope punk wins as i am not much of fan Dave "threesome when my wife is ill" Batista. July 8, 200816 yr yes, they should have gave if the WC of the B show rather than the A show if they were going for the slow burner treatment. as he is on the A show he needs to do more. but he could also lose the match without being beaten at all which could lead to Punk Vs Cena at Summer Slam but in the end the main event for GAB is actually I assume they went with Raw for the Punk push because Smackdown now has Triple H along with Edge and Taker, and they are pushing that show in a star powered way for its debut on its new channel. So it doesn't surprise me they went for Raw knowing that. They are still doing it with the second tier belt if you like, but with this new angle of a chaotic Raw the Punk run fits in well.Batista v Punk seems strange to me in the fact that you can't see Punk beating Batista clean at this stage.Maybe its a short title reign or maybe they're going to try and go the boring route of just saying "look Batista is a big star,Punk has beaten him clean,he belongs here".Which is fine but I was hoping they would show a bit of variety.
