US, July 14, 2008 - Capcom has announced a March 12, 2009 release date for Resident Evil 5 in Japan and March 13, 2008 date for North America and Europe at Microsoft's E3 press conference. Also announced was the fact that the game will feature online cooperative play. Players will be able to hop-in-and-out and teams will be able to do moves that they couldn't do by themselves

Bit longer than I was hoping for, perhaps nows the time to get up to speed with Resi 4

Midway has released it's full list of lineup for E3

In a press release fired off to GamePro today, Midway revealed its scheduled lineup for next week's super-hyped E3 event and games expo.

The titles are a mix of franchise players, like Mortal Kombat, and new "casual" fare, including Game Party 2.

Here's the full list, along with release dates and systems:

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe (PLAYSTATION 3, Xbox 360, Fall 2008)

Wheelman (PLAYSTATION 3, Xbox 360, PC; Fall 2008)

TNA iMPACT! (PLAYSTATION 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 2; September 2008)

Blitz the League II (PLAYSTATION 3, Xbox 360; Fall 2008)

This is Vegas (PLAYSTATION 3, Xbox 360, 2009)

Unreal Tournament 3 (Xbox 360; July 2008)

Game Party 2 (Wii, November 2008)

Touchmaster 2 (Nintendo DS, September 2008)

Mechanic Master (Nintendo DS, September 2008)

MidwayArcade.com (Online, Available Now)

And, believe it or not, the original Game Party has sold more than 1 million units to date.

Legends of WrestleMania official.

So far IGN.com has reported that Bobby Heenan is onboard. Good call.

The control system reportedly differs from that of SmackDown vs RAW, being more grapple based, which is really how it was back then, no out and out brawls. there'll be different modes too from SmackDown.

Only wrestlers thus far confirmed are Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant

During its E3 press conference today, Electronic Arts (EA) announced a new partnership with iconic shooter developer id Software. The publisher will be delivering Rage, the new IP id announced last summer.

Rage utilizes id's Tech 5 technology, aiming for new levels of graphic presentation in artistic expression and fidelity. Gameplay consists of both shooting and vehicle racing, combining race track tactics and FPS action when you take to foot in combat scenarios.

from the EA Press Conferance at E3. Sounds interesting.

Ohhhhh sh*t, the Silverdome!!! Well, thats that. The greatest game ever made is on its way! :lol

EDIT: They have Trump Plaza there too! I hope we get the SkyDome decked out in WrestleMania VI colours with the little carts taking you to the ring. Somebody in the crowd is wearing a Bret Hart shirt and another a Bushwhackers shirt, so they must be in there too.

Demolition please!

No, its more than right. SD! vs RAW is out every year, and seemingly gets worse every time. This is going to have a different look and feel, all those huge 80's and 90's stars, theme musics, arenas, logos, belts...man, its going to be awesome!

Also talking to a mate of mine and he said that Xbox is going to do a Mii's type avatar and the Dashboard is going to made easier to use as well.

Also we should have some sort of news on what the PS3 and Wii have to offer as well.

Just finished the Nintendo conference there, a lot better than Microsoft by a long way.

News from it:

Wii Sports : Resort

GTA : DS

Star Wars : Clone Wars (Wii)

Animal Crossing (Wii) with new Wii microphone

Wii Music - Looks pretty poor.

And a new thingy that slots into the Wiimote that will finally make it work!

Wrestlemania looks very promising, if just slightly similar to LOW.

I agree that this looks phenomenal.

It looks like the matches have more weight to them and, hopefully, Gorilla Monsoon, Heenan, Ventura and, perhaps, Vince McMahon will be on commentary.

Another thing that I'm surprised you didn't mention, Beltey, is that it looks like the old blue bar cage is in there (almost the very last shot of the video shows the bars).

This is a quote from the article containing the video...

"Legends aims to recreate the telecasts of the time with "signature ring entrances, renowned commentators, notable venues and much more" and will also implement a brand new combo fighting system that is grapple-based. Taunts, strike attacks, and reversals will also make up the control scheme as Superstars battle in "current and nostalgic match types."

... the bolded parts are what makes me think that the old-school commentators will be doing the mic work, The Fink will cover the entrances and "Mean" Gene Okerlund will take care of backstage interviews.

Was looking forward to Playstation selling me a PS3, however they didn't. Nothing really at all came out of it, just numbers and "growth". No killer apps.
