TNA Hard Justice will be the fourth annual Hard Justice professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). It will take place on Sunday 10th August 2008 from the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey.

The Promotional Poster features TNA World Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe and TNA World Tag Team Champions The Latin American Xchange

The main feud heading into Hard Justice is between Samoa Joe and Booker T, with the two fighting over the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

At TNA Victory Road, Joe defended the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Booker T, in Booker T's hometown of Houston, Texas. The match went to a no-contest, which meant Joe retained the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. During the match, Joe attacked security, referees, and Booker T without mercy. At one point, Sting entered the arena and tried to calm Joe down. Instead Joe gave Sting the middle finger and turned his back to continue to attack Booker T, who was bleeding from the forehead and laying on his back in the middle of the ring. Sting then hit Joe in the back with a baseball bat and allowed Booker T to get the cover while Booker T's wife (Sharmell) counted the pin, while referee Rudy Charles was unconscious. Booker T and Sharmell then left the arena with the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

On the July 17th episode of TNA iMPACT, Management Director Jim Cornette demanded that Booker T give the TNA World Heavyweight Championship back to the real champion; Joe. Joe declined and told Booker to keep the belt until Hard Justice, though Joe was still recognized as the official champion. Cornette also said that at Hard Justice Joe will defend the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Booker T to determine the true champion[/Quote]

as it hasn't been posted yet and it's tonight here is the updated card.

good card a tad few gimmicks but i still think it will be a good watch

I wonder if TNA realise that a street fight doesn't suddenly change or become fresh by simply sticking a town in the title......

They seem to do it quite a lot.

I don't like Consequences Creed - that's all for now.

To be fair to TNA, almost every promotion has done that to get a cheap pop from the crowd (the original ECW, in particular, did it all the time).

That's fair enough - and I would have called any other company on it.

I understand cheap pops, wearing the local football teams top and all the rest of it.

But the 'advancing' of match gimmicks just seems a bit silly.

I dunno, there's now a three times as much chance (and let's be honest, that chance is already pretty high with TNA attenders) the fans will chant "This is awesome" as they'll be watching it and thinking "Hell, we're from New Jersey... and this match is ALL about New Jersey... Gud, we're awesome... so... this MATCH must be awesome ! ! YEAAAAH"

I just think it's silly, next time you'll be telling me that not liking Consequences Creed is mad...

Haha, no, that would be too far !

Personally, I think it's smart. You get the live crowd into the match before the bell has even sounded. You want the fans to be as active as possible, and the above scenario is perfect for that.

Once again TNA demonstrates that one or two gimmick matches on a PPV is simply not enough....more is better!

sighs.......and they wonder why their buy rates are so rubbish.

All I can say after that PPV is I really hope it means JJ is back. I'd start watching again

so angle jobbed to AJ again:clap

so much for the myth about home grown talent.

so much for the myth about home grown talent.

TNA needs JJ back but as a face or a heel

I think it's funny that many TNA fans consider the likes of AJ Styles and Samoa Joe to be homegrown talents when they were already well known in wrestling circles through working for Ring Of Honor.

Your point about Jeff Jarrett seems a bit pointless...of course he's going to be a face or a heel :lol

Personally I'd rather see him return as a heel and take the belt off of the whinging champion Samoa Joe.

I think he was asking as a face or heel?

Styles really made a name for himself in TNA rather than RoH. He's considered a homegrown talent due to him being with the company since day one, and being nurtured through their ranks to one of the top guys.

Styles really is a TNA talent, but more to the point, Styles being jobbed out every single week on TV for about two months, then winning the match on PPV and still being beat up by someone else to finish, doesnt completely fit my description of being 'put over'.

its called building heat for the babyface to beat the "bad" guy

so angle jobbed to AJ again:clap

so much for the myth about home grown talent.

It was one match. More than that, it was one match where the babyface had been hammered and left laying for weeks on end (and lost a lot of matches to his heel opponent along the way). It makes sense that he would eventually get his big victory.

"So, Angle jobbed to AJ again" is your counter-point? How many times has AJ jobbed to Angle over the fued? Doesn't that make the point null-and-void?

Do you honestly believe that TNA don't have a deserved reputation for pushing non-homegrown talent over their own wrestlers? Robert Roode even did a semi-worked shoot about it when Booker T arrived in the company.

no, but it isn't as bad as people make out it is

You said that it was a myth (thus it doesn't actually exist). So are you now saying your opinion was wrong and that it does exist?

:lol

no its a myth that TNA only puts over ex WWE talent. as if you have actually watch when they get big talent in such as cage, angle and booker they work with homegrown talent before they work a world title program

Cage - brown

Angle - Joe

Booker - roode

They gave them the rub, now sometimes it doesn't work like in browns case but it not like they don't try

I can't believe that they've split up LAX its far to early, they had so much further they could have gone.

So you're saying they job home-grown talent to WWE talent the minute they walk in the door, before they're then given a world title, and that proves your point?

not at all, it gives them experience and a rub from a star and helps them build them, it is completely logical
