You know Jerry Springer, Oprah and the lot. You've all probably watched the trash TV so who's your favourite Host?

 

Got to say I like this Steve Wilkos guy, he is a bad ass and so true. It's amazing how he hasn't actually smashed someone in the face. Also amazing how most of the guests have the guts to get on the stage, he's one intimidating man.

I watched that Jeremy Kyle once, while i waiting in the arrival lounge at hospital. After the first ad break i want to swallow something which would have killed me stone dead!

Jeremy Kyle is great but love Steve Wilkos and Maury all the others do not watch

Some of those we don't get here in Canada. But Jerry Springer has by far the most ridiculous people on ever. Their so bad I can't even believe them half the time.

Jerry Springer all the way for me, the man is a god amongst trash tv show hosts!!

 

This is the man who had a wedding complete with ceremony and all the trimings between a man and a Pony on his show one time... says all that needs to be said really, none of the others can compete with that!

I liked Steve Wilkos when he was one of Springer's bouncer dudes.

 

But I've got a new found love for Jeremy Kyle. He's amazingly blunt and says what we're all thinking. Loved the guy yesterday who said he was a goalie for West Brom when he was 14, and Jeremy said it's funny that his own brother was number two goalie there at the time and he'd never heard of the bloke. Genius

Jeremy Kyle is damn sexy and tells it how it is. Chav scum on my telly....GET OFF MY STAGE!

Dont know if she counts but JUDGE JUDY!!!! That woman is great.

Oh if only court was realy like that I would rob banks.

I used to really like Jeremy Kyle - felt he took a brash, and yet fair approach to things.

 

The more you watch it though... the more you realise he's a walking cliché. Drinking games ? Take a shot every time for 'you are scum', 'put your hands up in the air', 'at the end of the day' or a 'put your damn hand in your pockets'....

I always wonder what order he wants the guests to do it... If the person puts their hands in their pockets and then lifts them into the air... All the money they are supposed to be grabbing for will fall to the ground and be stolen by homeless people therefore leaving the child - who is THE most important thing - hungry.

There is too often where he seems to JUST miss the point, like he is being really fair but suddenly decides he doesn't like one of them so picks on them ignoring whatever they're saying... It's frustrating to watch when he brags "there's two sides to every story".

 

My question to you all though - who genuinely, in life, looks at what's happening and thinks... "You know what I need to help me, I need to go on television to sort it all out !"

 

On a side note, a lot of Springer is scripted with repeat appearances by the same actors - sometimes twice in the same show as different characters.

Just for anyone who's interested.

 

Rici Lake angers me as a presenter, she really REALLY does. I also hate most of her guests and pray that it's scripted !

 

I love these kinds of shows in a cringe-worthy sort of way, I enjoy watching people discuss, talk and try justify their idiocy... It amazes me what people let themselves get away with.

I study psychology, okay, leave me alone :(

Until about a week ago, I thought Maury Povich was black. Turns out that it was Montel I was thinking of.

His show started last year and Series 2 is starting in September.

 

That's just good because I've lost count on how many b**t**ds he's destroyed anyway...
