Released today, anyone got it, any opinions yet?

 

Pre-ordered mine, gonna pick it up in about an hour

completely abysmal, the installing process and activation of the game is absolutely terrible and has caused nothing but mayhem.

 

I got this game at 10am, it's now 8:45pm and still nothing.

 

Worst Football manager ever.

Agree with the activation problems being a nightmare, but it might still be a good game, give it a chance.

I am picking up my copy in about an hour :D

Im liking it so far, the 3-d match engine is very good for what it is and i like the press conference stuff too.

I was a dead cert to buy it, but after the amount of problems I've heard from people all over the country about installation etc., I've gone right off the idea.

Had no problem installing it. I used the one that wasn't steam is worked instantly.

 

However, the game got an error about 10 minutes in and completely shut down.

is Fifa Manager any good? i prefer games to be as detailed and realistic as they can be so Fifa Manager would probably suit me better.

Not a great launch for SI by the sound of it, heard plenty of grumbling on the internet about the whole instalation processm the 3D match engine and the games buggy nature. The first patch has already been released on the SI website.

I was just wondering why you don't think that probably the most realistic management sim and one that several managers have gone on record in stating that they have used as a tool to prepare for games. A game which is renowned world over and has the 2nd biggest scouting network in the world (Sevilla are number 1). Would not be realistic enougth for you.

I was going to pick this up this evening however I think I might wait for a bit before I get it.

I've had no problems and I think the majority of installation problems have stopped after last nights debaracle.

 

Loving the game. Started off with Leeds, drawing far too many games though. Only lost 1 league game but 9 draws in 17 games is too much.

Nope Football manager has practially every team in there with every player in there, in my eyes it's the modern day version of the great champ manager games of the late 1990's.
