Which console and why?

 

I have to go for the ps3. Main reason are the blu-ray player, free internet, powerful prosecutors, great selection of exclusive with many more coming this year an next. people say that its too expensive but when you think about it.. an x box 360 is around £200 on average and a ps3 about £300 on average. Xbox live cots £40 per year so make that £240, you get "plug and play" built into ps3 controllers but it cots about £10 for a "plug n play" kit for the 360... making it about £250. if you want wireless for a 360 it will cost you another £50 bringing the cost up to £300. Plus all the other bits you have to buy for a 360 E.e updating hardrive for extra storage and things. where as with a ps3 you will get atleast 60gb of storage wich you can upgrade using any laptop sized hardrive! you get your blu-ray.. i could go on.

 

I just think you get a lot more out of a ps3. and are much better value for money.

 

Don't get me wrong i think the 360 has many great exclusives which i wish i had. i love mass effect and Gears of war. Halo is great too.

 

I don't own any hand held consoles and i don't really play PC games :/

Wii - Is for people who just want a laugh with mates, or even to get fit and play games at same time.

For the reasons I've given.

 

I have Xbox 360. I have no plan to get a blueray even thought in laws have one.

 

So why would I spend the extra money on a PS3 when I have no use for the extra? Most games I can get on 360.

 

When I need a blueray player I'll think about getting a PS3, but why spend more then I need too?

 

So all three consoles will suit different people.
