October 1, 200915 yr Fifa 09 was awesome, I'd be happy if it was just that with all the latest transfers and stats. Luckily there's loads of little extras too, can't wait to play around with the set piece designer and the improved manager mode. No sign of it yet, hoping it'll have arrived by the time I'm home from work, don't wanna have to wait til release day, bah. My local GAME is having a midnight realse. I'm picking mine up then! October 1, 200915 yr Yep i hear this will be the best FIFA in a long time getting it on friday for sure. Be sure to check the PlayStation Store for DLC as real madrid's stadium is a free download.

October 2, 200915 yr At midnight I drove down to ASDA expecting to pop in and out with my game, I ended up being stuck in a 2 hour que till 2am. Anyway, got the game now so all is good, 27 quid aswell is a bargain.

October 2, 200915 yr My pre-order didnt arrive, so got it from Tesco for just under 25 quid, nice! Didnt even have to go looking for it in the shop, nice massive display of it as I walked in. Hows everyone finding it? I kinda wish you'd progress faster in the Be A Pro Mode Season, its pretty much the same as last season, and playing for the reserves is no fun, especially if you decide to start with a lower league team. Seems to be something up with the Be A Pro Online ranked too, every game ive had so far has lost conntection to other players, normal fifa online seems fine though.
October 2, 200915 yr Gave the demo a try and it gave me an overwhelming sense of ..*sigh* In short, I wasn't too enthralled by it if I'm being honest, although I completely acknowledge it's probably the most realistic simulation of an football match engine produced to date. Maybe it was the demo, maybe the choice of teams pissed me off as a ManYoo follower. The choice of the Chelsk, The Stylish, Silky Skilled, *BASTARD* Catalans or the Germans was an instant 'Grin and bear it d*ckface!' (Aparently the Americans are there too - Not winning this f*cking battle though Uncle Sam.) So I choose Chelsk and try to play the conservative, counter attack wiff waff that they've played since 1807 against Barcelona. Thinking of course this would be a difficult match up (going on the assumptions Barcelona's players have been given god-like attributes to keep the world ticking over) I was left rather disappointed. The match length is short in the demo, not even short, f*cking short more like it and yet I still managed to crack three past Valdes. This was what I can only assume was 'World Class' difficulty as I selected the 'I eat this sh*t for breakfast' choice from the opening menu. On reflection though I think I've just had enough of simulation match engines...but then I wake up and suddenly realise that Football Manager 2010 is only a short while away - Now that's a f*cking game. Rule of thumb - If you still have a social life, the game ain't worth sh*t.
