yes, awesome!!!!!

...Something I can watch? For Free?

Fudge it, I'll bite - Even if only for a few lols. XD;;;

I can hear TNA fans around the UK and Ireland chanting: "This-is-Awesome"....

...Or somebody watching the first time muttering 'Change the channel'.

Not everyone can sit through TNA and agree with it, same thing with the WWE! :D

For a one off, if you ignore the just HORRIBLE story telling, iMPACT is actually a little bit better than RAW right now. I mean, it's still sh*t, but it's a slightly less smelly, smaller sh*t.
Does this deal include the PPVs?
I always felt Bravo had too many adverts and eventually just stopped watching. Probably will watch iMPACT a lot more now.

Nothing is official yet but it seems as though Bravo are looking to change there format in 2010 and Virgin want TNA on there network instead.

Here's some more details:

http://www.tnarevolution.com/news/2009/10/05/tna-to-air-on-virgin-1-in-the-united-kingdom/

The timeslot it will air in is 9:00-10:30pm, which is less than than what they get on Bravo for iMPACT every week so it’ll be interesting to see what deal they have agreed.

The potential viewership increase for TNA is good though, Virgin is available to alot more people wherever there paying or it's free through Freeview.

Good deal if you ask me.

I have Bravo, I have Virgin. I don't watch Impact now, gave up months ago, and a change of TV won't make me start watching again.

Only an hour and a half?

I doubt half an hour could be cut just by removing some ad breaks.

Then again, maybe less iMPACT is not entirely a bad thing.

sweet, that'll save me downloading it yet. I'd imagine Impact will completely trump Smackdown and Raw viewings now then since its pretty much available to everyone (apart from losers who arent prepared for the switch over yet)

I think they'll just be cutting the matches out, leaving an hour and a half show.

RAW and Smackdown are only 90mins in length when you take out the commercial breaks, so it is feasible.
And don't they have to put in "From The Vault" to fill up 2 hours? Myth busted.

I don't watch the UK broadcast (I, ahem, acquire the Australian version which doesn't have the 'From the Vault' segment) and it's still 90mins. I do know that 'FtV' is included in the UK edition to keep it to two hours, but that's because we have less breaks than the US.

If 'From the Vault' wasn't in the UK edition, the show would run at around 1hr45mins (with UK breaks totalling around 15mins of that), so Smackdown itself is still 90mins worth of the actual show.

Smackdown on average comes in around 88 minutes, and the time set on WWE for show length by Sky is 98 minutes pre commercial breaks, hence the FTV.

Myth?!

TNA WRESTLING FANS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM: Virgin 1 is giving Freeview viewers and TNA fans the opportunity to watch "TNA iMPACT!" on Virgin 1 on Fridays at 21:00 staring on October 30, 2009.

TNA fans can continue to watch "iMPACT!" at its regular time on Bravo on Saturdays at 21:00, with encores Sunday 21:00 on Bravo 2, Saturday 09:00 on Bravo, Saturday 19:00 on Bravo 2, Sunday 08:00 on Bravo 2 and Sunday 10:00 on Bravo 2

Well it's been confirmed on tnawrestling.com.

I doubt that Virgin 1 will have the first UK broadcast of the week of iMPACT now that it will still continue to air on Bravo, but I'm seriously hoping that it's not episodes from weeks/months ago.

Fridays at 9? Doesnt that clash with Smackdown?
They're only showing it on Virgin1 till early December and then they're stopping. The only reason they're showing it on Freeview temporarily is to get more UK people interested in TNA.
Uh...But Freeview doesn't have Bravo, so even if they GET interested, it doesn't mean they're going to subscribe to satellite just to watch it. That's rather narrow minded thinking, no matter how you slice it.
