Just read this on 411Wrestling.com.

"Up until now, Eric Bischoff has strictly been an on-air talent for WWE Raw, and stays to himself backstage, not really drumming up any political support.

However, there are reports that Vince McMahon is considering giving the creative control for the Raw brand completely over to Bischoff.

McMahon is worried about differentiating the brands, and believes that if he has total control over both brands, it would be impossible to make them distinct. However, it is unclear whether McMahon is truly prepared to give total control away for one brand, especially to someone who was once a hated rival.

Apparently McMahon is aware that his booking staffs are both writing shows that cater to what he likes, and he is looking for a solution that will allow a new creative voice to be heard, and Bischoff could be the answer.

hmm dunno about that but seeing as vince put steph in charge of bookin SD instead of Heyman...

It's not the worst idea ever, as Bischoff did do some good booking in 96 and 97. I mean I suppose you can look at it, as it's unlikely that it could be any worse than it is.

Vince also needs to give Heyman control of SD, cause Steph is rubbish. Steph can't even decide if her character is a face or a heel, let alone booking storylines.

I think Vince having Bischoff in control of Raw and Heyman in control of Smackdown could be very interesting. As Vince is getting older now, he could do that and just have himself overlooking the whole thing but at more of a distance than at present.

Well writing changes are needed on Raw and really they need someone who can take control of the ego's and repair the damage done to half the Raw roster. Bischoff can book some good TV when he puts his mind to it and he would bring some fresh ideas.

Problems are that Bischoff's track record of creating new stars (something WWE badly need) is far from great and with Nash back next month and a Hogan return not far off Raw could quickly become WCW 96 to 99 were Bischoff spends 99% of his time trying to keep Nash and Hogan happy at the expense of every one else.

Why does Raw have to be revolved around a certain wrestler. Now it's HHH, next it will be Hogan and Nash, both who are passed it, and takes 10 mins for them to land a punch.

Bishoff in control of Raw??? It'll never happen.

Hmm... I don't think it would be too bad a thing... after all Raw can't get any worse than it is right now. It might be good after all to have 2 distinct brands, which was the original aim at the end of the day wasnt it?

I'm yet to see or hear of Bischoff doing anything wrong myself so I'm all for it. To me, Bischoff is God. Hopefully he won't do anything to make me think otherwise...

Vice should do it, Bishoff was great in WCW he made on of the best storlines ever which was the NWO i dont know if any of u saw all of the storys in that but that was the damn best storyline ever. Also when him and Russo were on the writing team when they had the new blood in with russo and bishoof in control then those two periods of time WCW took over WWE that was when they were on the team of writing and being on the shows. I say

BISHOFF ON RAW

RUSSO ON SMACKDOWN, bring him from TNA even though all of the problems etc...

or am i just being crazy with that? Hmmmm i think so

Not the best news ever for Jericho or Booker T fans. If you think Jericho is being misused now, imagine what will happen with HHH (The pair don't get along) and Bischoff (Has never been a big Jericho fan) running the show. Jericho even dedicated his Undisputed title win a year ago to Eric Bischoff, after he was told that he would never win a world title in the business.

As for Booker, Bischoff had him under contract for countless years, and never allowed him to rise above tag team midcarder. I expect to see Booker and Jericho dropped down the card in favour of Bischoff's guys.

There is some silver lining though. Bischoff is known to get on well with The Cat, Mark Jindrak and Sean O'Haire. I'd like to see all 3 of these men used more in WWE.

I'll repeat what I said when Bischoff first debuted- I'm all for having him as an on air character, but he's a nightmare when it comes to booking. Bischoff is just as big a politics player as HHH, maybe even more. He sucked up to Turner to get his top position in WCW, then pushed him friends and burried his enemies.

People say Raw can't get worse? Believe me, it can and it will. Bringing in Bischoff as a booker would not be a wise move. If Vince is on the lookout for a new writer, I think Ric Flair could do the goods. His booking work in WCW, when it was good, was very enjoyable. True, he made a few mistakes, including the burying of one Mick Foley, but he made the focus of shows to be WRESTLING, something that will be extinct if Stephanie and Bischoff were booking WWE TV.

To anyone who is convinced that Bischoff is God- Remember the Warrior/Hogan Mirror? That's what we have to look forward too.

HHH- "He's in the mirror!"

Bischoff- "I can't see anything! What do you mean?"

HHH- "He's in the mirror!"

*Kevin Nash can be seen in the mirror, styling his hair to perfection*

Bischoff's and Austin's problems are very well known and if Bischoff does get the job Austin will no doubt be on SmackDown! when he returns.
I think it would be a good thing if Bischoff had some creative control on Raw. Then maybe the show wouldnt be revolved around HHH.
Anyone else find it a bit odd Vince is putting the two heads of the companys he destroyed as the head bookers. Seems a bit strange to me, he tried his hardest to destroy his competition and now it seems he's trying his hardest to destroy his own company

Part creative control, I'd like to see. Full control I wouldn't. As much as I like Bisch, I have to agree with Russ about pushing friends and so on.

Personally, I'd love to see Jim Cornette take RAW and Heyman take SmackDown, seeing how those two really don't like each other and would try to out-do each other as much as possible which means improvement from both shows. But Jimmy has OVW to take care of, so that won't happen anytime soon.

I think they should let Heyman and Bischoff try and work together, just so Steph and Trips have minimal involvement.

The reason WWE has lasted so long is because, for good or for bad, the buck has always stopped with Vince. It's his company, his responsibility and his baby. He is also skilled at delegating certain aspects of his business to the men best qualified to do them, without losing total control. Guys like Jim Ross in talent management, Gerald Brisco in match planning, and Paul Heyman, who even though he ranks below Daddy's girl is still taken seriously enough to make a difference to Smackdown!.

In this respect giving Bischoff some creative control (he will still answer to Vince) isn't that unbelievable.

Eric's glory years relied heavily on having Ted Turner's millions at his disposal. He booked genuine marquee names who could draw crowds, while filling out the undercards with jap lucha talent and top US indies. But the biggest ace up his sleeve wasn't bought; the NWO.

Sure he only created a few new stars (Bill Goldberg, anybody?), but when you can consider that WCW's later rush to do so yielded the Natural Born Thrillers and David Flair (who were nowhere near ready for that level of exposure), you can draw your own conclusion.

Eric's downfall was that as part of the initial execution of his masterplan he gave too much power to people who'd later go on to abuse it, and once that happened he was stuck. Lack of experience possibly contributed and Eric today must be a wiser man; besides, Vince would simply not write those kind of contracts for anyone (HHH got his influence in more subtle ways), so Eric couldn't make that mistake in the WWE anyway.

Are we talking about the 1996 Eric (good)

Or

The 1998 Eric (bad)

Here is what is going to happen. Bisch is going to bring in a new CRAZY idea and we'll be all like "yey". And then he will run with it, nd run with it and run with it until we are all sick of the idea. Then, just when you think it can't get any worse he'll bring in the Worrior. Then we will be treated to HHH vs Ultimate. joy.

Come to think of it if you put a little face paint on HHH and a few tassels then there is a scary resemblance to Jim Helligs blithering idiot persona................... I'll leave you to think about that one.
