"Wild Thing" Adam Brown has opened up his latest Wrestling School, this time in Sunderland at the famous Seaburn Centre on the Sea front. I was invited along to check out the new school and once again Adam Brown has created a class that has a great mix of age groups and skills. There were plenty of Wrestlers on hand also to share their experience and skills and assist Adam. Lee Butler "Middleman" drove up to Sunderland from his home town of Preston, Lanc's just so he could get in some serious training.

Adam Brown for those who do not know him, he started his training in the North East and soon decided to he needed a broader experience and knowledge of the Pro Wrestling business. So he packed his bags and headed off for the US, where he trained with the NWL and House Of Pain, he soon became a qualified, fully trained wrestler and has state accreditation and is one of only a few wrestlers in the UK that is registered with the Combat Sports Federation and can teach Pro Wrestling in a fully insured environment.

I asked Adam what makes his classes different to other ones in the area? He told me that not only does he focus on how to wrestle he also works on physical fitness and diet. No one is rushed through so they can be put on shows, every one must learn and master the basics before they ever step into the ring. The importance of learning how to perform moves safely is my number one priority.

Adam is a great instructor, and I have now been to all his classes, even my son was training with him at his South Shields Class. If you want to learn how to become a Pro Wrestler, get fit and have some fun, I would strongly recommend that you come along to Adam Brown's school of Wrestling.

Is there any age limits?

It's great to know that more training schools are opening up, giving more people the opportunity to get trained, which overall helps the future of UK wrestling.

I'll try and ask Kam to add it to the Training Schools section in the Links section.

Cheers.

Yes well the more quality schools that open the more talent can be developed.

No Age limits, as such, but its not advised for anyone under the age of 10. As its tough going...

Thanks Gary!,i was only asking as a lot of training schools have age restrictions from 13-30 only,i was wondering if this school was the different!:)
Is there a chance of one opening in maybe Gateshead or something cos it would be a lot easier for me to go to as i used to go to Adams school in Spennymoor which is no longer there

I have it on good authority that Adam will be opening a new school in Gateshead in the coming weeks.

He already has a list of students ready to start training with him at gateshead.

Keep a check on the wzw website for details of all the new schools that will be opening through out the north east...
