Having seen a decent video of True Crime Hong Kong, im convinced that though the first two games in the series sucked balls, this is going to be a winner, and because of low expectations, given the quality of its predecessors, it should hopefully be a real pleasant surprise. The hand to hand combat in particular looks really good, with lots of variety and the ability to use the surrounding environment to your advantage, as someone who actually enjoyed Stranglehold, and an avid fan of Hong Kong cinema, I for one hope this is as good as it looks.

Is there any other games that wont necessarily have the might of an Activision or EA behind them that you guys are looking forward to?

Ahem. Yeah, but watch them hype it. Not. On a second note, the next Batman game is to be called Arkham City, and will definitely star Catwoman.....see ign.com for details.........but will there be co-op i wonder????

A game coming to the xbox live arcade pretty soon that I think looks like a whole bunch of fun and, as far as I'm aware, is an independant project: Monday Night Combat! Like the Super Bowl but with guns.

It's also being made by, probably, the best named developer in the world. Have a look.

I'm weirdly excited about the new Splatterhouse. It looks stupid as hell, but gloriously so.
What's exciting me even more than the idea of the haunted room level from the original game getting an update is the rumour that the FULL arcade original is going to be included as an extra.

PS Magazine ran an article on the 2010 version and said that the original arcade game will be bundled as an unlockable extra, along with the two follow-ups.

I was watching an E3 interview with the makers of the game, and they confirmed that the original games would be bundled in with the new one.

And the original music from Splatterhouse is in there too! A small thing, but the music on the first two games in particular was fantastic! I never played 3 but if its like the first two, then it should have been great.
