1. The Northern end of the island is called Vice Point. It`s the more affluent part of town, where most of the speedy roadsters can be found.

 

2. Drive almost halfway South and you`ll get to Washington Beach. The middle belt contains a hardware store, a "spray `n` pay" and a lawyer`s office. A police station is also situated there. Bang! In the middle of the map.

3. Further south is Ocean Beach, it`s got another spray `n` pay, gun shop, and hospital, where u`ll recover from the severe police beating u`ll take. It also contains a save place, on the Eastern strip of road.

 

4. When the mainland opens up after Phnom Penh `86, u`ll be able to cross over via. 1 of the 3 bridges availible, and the middle lump of land, Starfish island.

 

5. On the mainland, the Northern section is known as downtown. It has a stadium and helipad @ the very North- West. There`s an "ammunation" quite near the top also. Always fun to shop there.

Chris, if you're going to continue to bore...er...I mean enlighten us with this stuff that you've obviously stolen from a magazine, at least give the magazine credit.

6. At just a third of the way down the map, youl`ll enter little Haiti, home to a handy pay n spray shop. Remember how to get to it quickly.

8. The very Southern tip of the land is the industrial area, where you`ll find another Pay N Spray shop to cool things off when your wanted rating is rivalling Bin Laden`s

 

9. The Western spur of the land is home to the fantastically posh Escobar Airport, and the military base.

 

10. The large stretch of beach on the East side of the map can be used to get from the tip to the end and vice versa in ultra fast time, if u get in an off road vehicle with plenty of spring in the suspension.

Glitches? I've found one whilst playing Vice City, activate the "Cars float on water" cheat and take a car then get it in the sea whilst still in the car, it will then float.

IF you have a cheat CD and activate "Max Health" (Try Xploder CD or AR CD whatever), this will happen.

Get out of the car and Tommy will go down bottom of the sea, he will stay there with the health unaffected.

But you can't move Tommy and will have to activate the "Sucide" cheat to be taken back to the land"

 

PLEASE NOTE:

Activating the "Cars floats on water" cheat and the game could act strangely and could even crash, do NOT save the game!

And

you will need a Cheat CD e.g. Xploder or AR Cheat CD to set the Max health cheat.

 

But, why would Rockstar intentionally force the game to crash or perform strangely if you use cheats? is it to encourage play without cheating?

I don`t mind, I enjoy posting. I`m finished with the 10 places..but but there will be more, on more games also.

 

Yes, I do get my info from PS Max, but, it`s not entirely from there, I put it into my own words.

Chris, I know you're enjoying the Gaming Forum but I think that for the first time I'm gonna have to establish rules for your posting:

 

1. Only review/preview games you have actually played. Reading them in a magazing then posting a preview isn't worth your time.

 

2. Do not post tips/cheats you can get in major magazines or major websites. It's the reason I locked your cheats thread

 

3. Cut down a little. Think if it's worth your time posting the stuff.

 

Finally, have fun, I don't wan to seem like an evil forum leader but I think if you keep up like this people will very soon be extremely annoyed.
